Madison and John
Venue Name
“We wanted our wedding to feel classic and timeless, something we could look back on years from now and still love. Pinterest inspired much of our vision; we kept coming back to the idea of a blue and white wedding. We incorporated the colors throughout our day with light blue bridesmaid dresses, blue and white hydrangeas, and lots of chinoiserie accents that tied everything together beautifully. We chose light blue and white because they felt soft, timeless, and elegant. It also worked beautifully with our outdoor venue and all the chinoiserie details we incorporated throughout the day.” -The Bride
Madison and John’s outdoor Brooksville wedding was a romantic evening filled with classic white flora accented with soft blue details at a pristine and peaceful private estate. The bride and groom exchanged vows under a towering moss-clad oak tree before hosting their 187 closest friends and family in an al fresco reception overlooking acres of rolling hills.
“The most memorable moment was walking down the aisle and seeing John and all of our guests for the first time. I felt an overwhelming sense of peace and excitement for the next chapter ahead. Seeing everyone I know and love all together to celebrate us was so heartwarming — I had never felt so much love in one place,” the bride reminisced. “Another unforgettable moment was on the dance floor! The bridesmaids and groomsmen surprised us with coordinated dances, and it was absolutely hilarious. It got everyone cheering and really kicked off the party. It was such a blast and a moment we’ll never forget!”

The Hair and Makeup
Femme Akoi Beauty Studio
“I chose Femme Akoi Beauty Studio after seeing their gorgeous wedding looks on Instagram. Their style perfectly matched the vision I had for my day!
The team was incredibly friendly and professional, and they made the getting-ready process so relaxing and fun. I felt my most confident and beautiful, and my hair and makeup lasted all night!”

The Venue

La Hacienda on Snow Hill
“We live in Jacksonville, FL, but we chose La Hacienda on Snow Hill because Brooksville is the town I grew up in. We were looking for a venue that felt special, something unique, timeless, and full of charm. We wanted a place that was already beautiful on its own without needing a ton of extra décor. I pictured an outdoor space that felt elegant but still relaxed, where our guests could enjoy the view and just take it all in.
The venue itself truly made our wedding unique. The Spanish-style accents added so much charm; most of our guests were in awe of the setting and couldn’t believe they were still in Florida!
La Hacienda on Snow Hill has such a stunning, one-of-a-kind atmosphere. It feels like you’ve been transported somewhere else entirely. The fact that it’s located in my hometown made it even more special and meaningful to celebrate there. There were countless reasons I fell in love with the venue. The view is absolutely incredible, and I love how private and peaceful it feels. The staff was amazing — Jessica and Steve went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! They were so kind, organized, and attentive, and they truly made sure we got everything we wanted and more.”

The Proposal
“John proposed on the Fourth of July in downtown Jacksonville on the Main Street Bridge. My parents had come up from Brooksville so our families and friends could all celebrate the holiday together — or so I thought! Little did I know, they were actually there for our proposal. We had a big get-together before heading downtown for the fireworks, and once we were all set up on the bridge, I turned around and saw John down on one knee. I completely blacked out from excitement! It was such a magical moment — I said yes, and the rest is history!”

Local Wedding Inspiration
“I used Marry Me Tampa Bay for a lot of inspiration! I loved looking through real weddings to get ideas for color palettes, décor, and fun, unique touches that matched the look I was going for. It really helped me visualize how everything could come together and made the planning process even more exciting.”

The Bach Party and Honeymoon
“I celebrated my bachelorette party in St. Augustine, Florida, and it was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation! I loved spending quality time with all my bridesmaids while exploring such a beautiful and historic city. We enjoyed the nightlife downtown, the incredible food, and the charming atmosphere that St. Augustine is known for. It was the best blend of celebrating and unwinding before the big day!
We spent our honeymoon in Costa Mujeres, Mexico, and it was absolutely perfect! The weather was beautiful, the beaches were stunning, and it was exactly the relaxing getaway we needed after the wedding. We spent most of our days by the pool, soaking up the sun, enjoying amazing food and drinks, and just unwinding together.”

The Inspiration & Experience
“We wanted our wedding to feel classic and timeless, something we could look back on years from now and still love. Pinterest inspired much of our vision; we kept coming back to the idea of a blue and white wedding. We incorporated the colors throughout our day with light blue bridesmaid dresses, blue and white hydrangeas, and lots of chinoiserie accents that tied everything together beautifully. We chose light blue and white because they felt soft, timeless, and elegant. We’ve always loved blue, and pairing it with white made everything look so classic and clean. It also worked beautifully with our outdoor venue and all the chinoiserie details we incorporated throughout the day.
We wanted our wedding to feel like us, fun and full of good energy! The venue itself made the day especially meaningful since it’s located in Madison’s hometown, which gave everything a personal touch. Our décor reflected our classic style, the music kept everyone on the dance floor (which is so us!), and we made sure every detail, from the food to the atmosphere, created a celebration that felt true to who we are.
What mattered most to us was that everyone had fun! We wanted the entire day to feel memorable — not only for us, but for our guests as well. From the food to the DJ to the overall ambiance, our goal was for it to be a night everyone would remember, filled with great music, laughter, and celebration.”

The Music
Graingertainment
“We chose Graingertainment after seeing how fun and energetic their past weddings were. We wanted a DJ who could keep the dance floor full and the energy high all night, and they absolutely delivered! They were so professional, organized, and easy to work with, and our guests had the best time dancing.
They even accommodated all of my last-minute changes and requests without batting an eye. The music and flow of the night were perfect from start to finish!”

Which vendors really exceeded your expectations?
If I could personally shout out every vendor, I would — everyone went above and beyond to make the day unforgettable! Two that really stood out were our caterer and our florist.
Savory Roots was incredible to work with; they communicated with me every step of the way and were so accommodating, even with some very last-minute changes. Westover’s Flowers also blew me away — after our first meeting, I felt like I could completely trust them, and they delivered arrangements that were even more beautiful than I imagined.
What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
Try not to stress about the little things. It all works out in the end! Enjoy the planning process and trust your vendors; they want your day to be perfect just as much as you do. The day goes by so fast, so make sure to stop and really take it all in with your partner. Seeing all your friends and family there to celebrate you is the best feeling ever!
