Anna and Ian
“We wanted a cozy, classic, loving, and inviting feeling about our entire wedding weekend. The venue was so beautiful, and I wanted to let nature shine through. Neutral colors allowed it to be elegant without feeling over the top.” -The Bride
Anna and Ian’s nature-filled Brooksville wedding blended neutral tones of white and brown with lush greenery and gold accents, creating an inviting and romantic atmosphere, while the natural surroundings provided a breathtaking backdrop for their outdoor celebration.
“We wanted to have a cozy, classic, loving, and inviting feeling about our entire wedding weekend,” the bride shared. “The venue was so beautiful, and I wanted to let nature shine through. Neutral colors allowed it to be elegant without feeling over the top.”
The Central Florida bride and groom’s search for a Tampa Bay wedding venue led them to a private estate that connected both their family histories and personal ties to the area.
“We recently purchased and renovated a home in Orlando. We wanted to marry near Citrus County, where I am from. When we discovered La Hacienda on Snow Hill, we were surprised to find it was located in the same city where Ian’s father was born,” the bride revealed. “We were looking for a dreamy location with a stunning sunset, a glass dance floor over the swimming pool, and convenient on-site spots for the bride and groom to get ready. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking! It felt like we were in the mountains of Georgia, and I believe this venue is one of the highest points in Florida. I loved that La Hacienda on Snow Hill is a new venue, full of fresh love and passion for hosting weddings. The communication and service were unmatched compared to anyone else I spoke to, and they genuinely cared about how our wedding turned out. The owners worked closely with me to ensure everything was tailored to our liking.”
The November ceremony took place on the lush lawn of La Hacienda, beneath a centuries-old oak tree draped in Spanish moss. White chairs lined either side of a grassy aisle, beautifully adorned with floral arrangements of greenery and white blooms which held special significance to the bride.
“The most important elements of our wedding were letting the greenery shine in our florals, having a heartfelt and meaningful ceremony, and making sure everyone had an unforgettable time on the dance floor.” All of the greens that were used at our wedding had been hand-cut the week of our wedding from the my childhood home,” the bride detailed. “Everyone pulled together and rolled up our sleeves to collect all the greens our florist needed.”
Anna wore a stunning fit-and-flare gown featuring a v-neckline and intricate lace detailing, giving it a timeless and romantic feel. Her hair was styled in soft, effortless waves, with a delicate veil clipped at the back, adding the perfect finishing touch to her elegant look.
As guests arrived at the reception, they were greeted with a champagne wall and two specialty cocktails, The Sadie and The Scout, named after the couple’s dogs, adding a personal touch to the evening. The reception took place on an Italian-style terrace, where travertine stone tiles and warm string lights created a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. Long wooden tables and round tables draped in crisp white linens were paired with wooden crossback chairs, each table featuring a tall floral centerpiece, floating candles, gold silverware, and greenery. With a stunning backdrop of rolling hills, the setting felt thoughtfully curated, blending natural beauty with meaningful details that reflected the couple’s story.
The bride’s vision of a lively, packed dance floor and the groom’s passion for music came together seamlessly with a live band and a showstopping dance floor, built directly over the venue’s pool with a sleek plexiglass cover. The combination of music, energy, and celebration set the stage for a night guests would never forget. Adding to the emotional moments of the evening, there was a heartfelt surprise during the parent dances; the bride shared a special first dance with her mother.
“Moms often don’t get the recognition they deserve, so I was happy to showcase mine,” the bride beamed. “It was a touching tribute that made the night even more meaningful.”
Of all the incredible moments throughout the day, a few stood out as truly unforgettable for Anna and Ian.
“Reading our vows privately was such an intimate and meaningful moment,” the bride reminisced. “And our first dance felt so authentically us—a memory we’ll cherish forever.”

Where did you spend your honeymoon?
A cruise through Greece, Istanbul, and Italy! We wanted to relax on our honeymoon and let someone else handle the planning. Plus, these incredible destinations are perfect for indulging in amazing food!
Where did you host your bach parties?
For my bachelorette, we escaped to “Camp Anna” at a beautiful wooded retreat, while Ian enjoyed a golf getaway in Indian Rocks Beach, FL.

The Proposal:
During our vacation to London, we watched the Jacksonville Jaguars, Ian’s favorite team, play at Wembley Stadium before taking the train to Paris to explore. On our second night, we shared a bottle of wine beneath the Eiffel Tower, and just as the clock struck 8:00 p.m., the Tower sparkled to life. In that perfect moment, Ian got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him.

Which vendors really exceeded your expectations?
The night before our wedding, my makeup artist was hospitalized with COVID, yet she still ensured that one of the best artists on her team arrived bright and early to do our makeup—and it was flawless. On top of that, our florist brought my vision to life, creating the most stunning bouquets and table settings. Everything was exactly as we had imagined!
