Dearest Reader,
The time has come for a new season of Tampa Bay wedding inspiration that takes us back to a time of royal luxury presented in a modern-day style. This Bridgerton-themed styled wedding shoot included all of the elements that make a betrothal effortlessly easy when a true love match is formed, including a stunning estate, romantic color palette, and sophisticated Victorian styling.
“The theme of this shoot was whimsical Victorian. We wanted to showcase a wedding full of whimsy with colorful details and blooming florals. This was for the couples who are looking for that classical, old romance inspiration,” Annah Tarallo, owner of Everlasting Affairs, explained. “Our color palette consisted of soft tones such as peach, pink, white, lavender, green, and gold. We wanted this to be colorful and playful but also quite delicate.”
Set just outside of Tampa Bay, Covington Farm sits on 75 acres of rare rolling hills, helping transform the Florida wedding venue into an English countryside worthy of an aristocrat. The luxury Dade City estate features a stunning landscape, pristine pastures, and two lakes making it ideal for this royal-like affair.
“We chose Covington Farm not only because it has acres of beautiful pasture but it’s also a working horse farm. Situated on the water it has stunning views that so so elegant and romantic. We thought it was the perfect place to showcase a modern Victorian wedding,” the planner gushed. “The barn is draped with beautiful chandeliers and gives off an amazing antique feel.”
The illustrious debutant’s fitted wedding dress featured champagne-beaded detailing with off-the-shoulder sleeves that highlighted the romantic atmosphere of the period. In appreciation of the grandeur that a Bridgerton event would include, gold Chiavari chairs and flatware enhanced the reception tablescape, while a champagne tower created a flawless focal point for the indoor event.
Rich textures of velvet surrounded the honorable couple in the lounge and behind the sweetheart table, while various hand monogrammed desserts and specialty drinks awaited guests.
One bit of wisdom any seasoned wedding vendor will share is that the attention should always be placed in the details and that’s exactly what this team set out to accomplish.
“There were so many favorite elements to this shoot it’s hard to choose just one. Each and every vendor brought forth something special. From the floral-filled window pane ceremony backdrop, antique furniture, stationery, elegant drapery, delicate desserts, period-era attire, champagne tower, custom candles, romantic picnic, and colorful china. All elements were fit for a Lady and her Duke,” the planner beamed.
