Rachel and Chad’s boho Lake Alfred wedding featured a dreamy palette of neutrals complemented by elegant gold accents, perfectly capturing the essence of their November nuptials. Complete with a majestic horse-drawn carriage, this wedding was nothing short of a fairy tale.
“Originally, we wanted to elope in the mountains, but we chose our venue for its classy vibe and beautiful views! We wanted a bohemian-neutral theme,” the bride beamed. “We incorporated our personalities through our wedding dance and decor. I love bohemian vibes and wanted to bring that vibe to the lake and incorporate neutral colors and gold.”
With the help of Marry Me Tampa Bay, the bride and groom selected a venue that embodied the essence of their vision. Having an intimate event was a priority for the couple. They opted for a secluded garden ceremony with 20 of their closest loved ones, followed by a reception for 110 of their extended family and friends beneath the enchanting glass-enclosed luxury tent. Elegantly decorated with romantic flowers, peach and orange linens, ceiling drapes, and gold chargers, the reception featured bohemian peacock chairs at the sweetheart table.
“I would research wedding venues through Marry Me Tampa Bay, and it helped me find my wedding planner,” the bride shared.
To help manage all the details and keep the wedding planning as stress-free as possible, the Tampa couple selected B Eventful for their guidance and expertise.
“If you are choosing to go bigger with your reception, definitely hire a wedding planner! They are so helpful and are there to take the stress off of you. I was looking for a team effort to take the weight load off of planning,” the bride explained. “B Eventful was just that for us! They were always quick to respond, responsive when I needed someone to talk to, and timely with their services. We used B Eventful to help find a majority of the wedding vendors. They have an amazing organization and helped me create the perfect day!”
Dressed in a strapless tulle fit-and-flare gown with an illusion-plunging v-neck adorned with delicate floral appliques, the bride made an entrance as she walked down the aisle. To style her hair and get her bridal entourage wedding-ready, Rachel enlisted the hair and makeup artists of Femme Akoi Beauty Studio.
“I went with a whimsical boho theme and wanted flowy, natural beach wave looks. I loved Femme Akois’s hair service!” the bride gushed. “I used a friend for my makeup and Femme Akoi for hair and makeup services for my bridesmaids.”
As the festivities came to a close, Rachel and Chad paused for a kiss while framed by a cascade of shimmering cold sparks behind them, creating an enchanting atmosphere.
Among the countless memories woven into such a significant occasion, the bride singled out the private vow exchange as the most meaningful part of the day.
“We chose to read out vows on our own outside of the ceremony. We had a private ceremony with close family and friends and the wedding reception directly after for extended family and friends,” the bride revealed. “That was the most special part!”
