Makenzie and Brian’s waterfront Tampa Bay wedding brought whimsical springtime elegance to life with a magical outdoor ceremony covered in a soft color palette of lavender, baby pink, and white. Making sure they incorporated their love for the outdoors, the couple chose a local Tampa Bay venue that helps to keep our waterways clean.

“We started searching for venues through Marry Me Tampa Bay and eventually chose Tampa Bay Watch. We chose this venue because the ocean is our happy place,” the bride explained. “We enjoy boating, fishing, and romantic picnics on our little bay islands. We also fully support Tampa Bay watch and their continuous efforts to clean and keep our Bay, and its inhabitants healthy and thriving!”

Thinking outside of the box for a creative but functional way to entertain their guests, the St. Pete couple hired Get Cozy Bubbles and Brews Drink Cart to keep the cocktails flowing for their guest list of 150.

Searching for a Tampa Bay wedding bakery that offered a variety of flavors and unique options for their cake, Makenzie and Brian turned to The Artistic Whisk.

“We wanted a DJ that could accommodate guests of all ages and keep everyone up dancing all night,” Makenzie explained. “We hired Grant Hemond and Associates because they were recommended by our caterer and design team. They were great!”

Looking back on their wedding day, the bride reminisced on her most memorable moment of the evening.

How would you describe your wedding design inspiration?
Our theme was elegant spring flowers. I chose it because we got married on Easter weekend. Being showered in flowers on my wedding day made me feel like the ultimate princess!

What were your colors?
Our colors were lavender, baby pink, and white. We chose these colors because they were very beautiful and also perfectly fitting for our spring wedding.
