Natalia and Kevin’s downtown St. Pete wedding featured a vintage and classic theme inspired by their historical reception venue. The color combination of light blush and navy with gold accents created a scenery that was sultry and gorgeously romantic.

“I’m a girly-girl, so there was a lot of blush and gold details. Kevin loves anything nautical, so we incorporated some navy as well,” the bride explained. “We are also both FSU alumni, so we tied that in with some of the details.”
Natalia, an avid reader of Marry Me Tampa Bay, selected her wedding vendors, after first discovering them on our online planning site.
“I used Marry Me Tampa Bay throughout the entire wedding planning process. It was the most valuable resource, as I wanted to choose all local vendors and needed to narrow my choices down to the best ones in the area,” the bride shared.
With entertainment on the top of their list of important wedding elements, the couple hired St. Pete wedding DJ Nature Coast Entertainment Services to keep their guests on the dance floor and the party going all night long.
“I first heard about Nature Coast Entertainment from Marry Me Tampa Bay and decided to contact Mike after reading the reviews. Hiring Nature Coast Entertainment was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Mike went above and beyond what was required to make sure our day was perfect. He completely transformed our wedding venue with his lighting design and kept the party going until the very last minute,” Natalia gushed. “We had never seen anything like the wedding sparkler fountains provided by Nature Coast and knew we wanted to do a sparkler exit. It was so much fun and the pictures are some of my absolute favorites!”

Knowing that a photo booth was a must have at their wedding, the bride turned to Marry Me Tampa Bay and contacted ShutterBooth Photo Booth company.
“Early on I knew I wanted a photo booth at our wedding, as I have always enjoyed them at other events and weddings I’ve attended. It was also a bonus when I learned it makes for a great wedding favor for guests and way for them to remember your wedding by. I looked for a photo booth rental company who provided great customer service, quality photos, and one who would provide our guests with the most fun experience,” the bride shared. “I first heard about ShutterBooth from Marry Me Tampa Bay and then read their raving reviews online. I decided to go with them because of their reputation for providing excellent customer service and quality photos. I also appreciated their wide variety of options to customize the photo booth and photo strips to match the theme of our wedding. I was so happy with their service and how stress-free and fun they made the whole experience.”

Looking back, one of the bride’s most cherished memories was the first look with her husband.
“One of the most memorable moments was our first look, because it was the only moment the whole day we had to ourselves. I loved sneaking up on Kevin and his reaction once he saw me,” the bride reminisced.
The Proposal:
It was a normal Friday when Kevin asked me to meet him after work for date night. I quickly got ready and met him at The Vinoy for a glass of wine before dinner. Kevin casually asked if I remembered that he worked there one summer, and if I would like to walk around. At some point, he stopped in front of a hotel door and took a room key from his pocket. At that point I was very confused, as well as surprised to find out he had reserved a room at the hotel. He led me into the room and I quickly noticed the red roses, champagne, and chocolates displayed in the room. He continued out onto the balcony where he got down on one knee and asked if I would spend forever with him.
How would you describe your theme?
Vintage, romantic and classic. I was inspired by the historical reception venue.
What were your colors?
Blush, gold and navy. I always knew I wanted blush to be one of our colors, and Kevin really likes navy. The colors also went with our overall classic romantic theme.

What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
Enjoy the wedding planning process and try to be as present as possible on your wedding day! Being engaged is so much fun, and it will fly by faster than you think – as well as the wedding day. Don’t sweat the small stuff and know that everything will work out. Trust the vendors you chose to take care of all the little and “big” things.
