Kazi and Steven’s timeless Tampa wedding brought 160 guests together at a private yacht and country club for a November celebration centered on family, music, and a packed dance floor. The bride and groom embraced a classic black-and-white color palette with lush florals, weaving in personal touches, from Toronto Blue Jays jerseys to matching sneakers on the dance floor that made the celebration entirely their own.
“We incorporated our personalities through details from our signature drinks, to the Blue Jays jersey and audiobook recordings, to our matching sneakers on the dance floor,” the bride shared. “My dad is the pitching coach for the Blue Jays. We incorporated small things involving the Blue Jays and the World Series, which meant a lot to us as it’s a large part of our life.”

The Bach Party & Honeymoon
“For our bach parties, I went to Miami, and Steven went to Siesta Key. We both love the sun/warmth, and I wanted to go out and dance with my best friends!
We ended up going to the World Series leading up to the wedding, so we decided to do a mini-moon in St. Augustine. We will go on a honeymoon trip on our one-year!”

Most Memorable Moments
“Our best man, maid of honor, and father-of-the-bride speeches were incredible. I also dedicated my bouquet to my mom.
The people in attendance and the music were our two most important elements, as we wanted to basically throw the best dance party! Steven and I were introduced on the dance floor to the song Forever by Chris Brown, and it was peak happiness for both of us to dance together in front of our loved ones. We had 100+ people on the dance floor the whole night!”
Which vendors really exceeded your expectations?
DJ Fresh played the best music! He was the best MC, too! He was attentive to the guests, hyped up the crowd when needed, and played until we got shut down by the venue! He was the reason for our epic dance party!
What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
Truly take in the day; it goes by so fast! Make sure you are comfortable with your vendors, as they can help make the day so memorable/stress-free!
