Their all-inclusive wedding packages start at $895 for an intimate wedding and includes, ceremony decor, officiant and wedding photographer! For larger weddings, Gulf Beach Weddings offers ceremony options including a “day of” wedding coordinator, photography, videography, chairs, ceremony arch and aisle decor for $2,995.
The owner, Brandon Wheeler, became the co-owner of Gulf Beach Weddings in 2009, and then full owner in 2014. The business began in 2001 offering notary services and has since evolved into officiating, coordinating, photographing, and organizing over 5,500+ weddings.

What inspired you to start your business?
Creating jobs and seeing others succeed! Typically, people are happy at weddings – decided to marry (no pun intended) the two and it was a perfect recipe! I was an Entrepreneurship and Real Estate major at Florida State University in the early 2000's and this business had both elements.
Where do you draw your inspiration?
Anything and everything. If I go on a vacation and the floors are made of a certain bamboo, I pay attention. One of our packages borrowed some of the styling cues from a Holiday Inn Express in Savannah, GA. You name it, we've tried. A concert by Jimmy Buffet inspired another one of our Themed Wedding Packages. You have to be open to change and keep your eyes peeled at all times!

What is one of your favorite things about being a wedding professional?
Every day is new. We are constantly innovating and trying to do things better. The constant challenge and changing environment build better individuals and ultimately the business. We have placed a large emphasis on training, video instruction, on-site training, etc. in 2017 – we are ready to see this pay off in the coming years!

In your opinion, what is a MUST HAVE at every wedding?
A fun attitude, period. If you are up for anything; it will be a great experience! If you are buried in the details, you will miss out on a once in a lifetime occasion.
What is one thing most couples would be surprised to know about you?
I take cold showers. Some find it odd, I find it refreshing. Try it once (you will shock the system), but you are “awake” and your shower only takes a couple minutes…you want to get out!

What are some of your passions, non-wedding related?
Flying – I am a private pilot and love to see the beaches and aerial view of Florida from the sky!
What are you most excited about in the upcoming year?
Expansion into the Panhandle area; this has been on our minds for a few years now. With the hurricane last year, competition continuing to grow locally, and the demand from clients this has been a no brainer. We purchased property in October of 2017 and it will be fully renovated and built mid-year 2018! We have also fully integrated our performance reviews and company 401(k) plan for 2017-2018, which will build loyalty among our current team members and help plan for the future. We've also paid for our team members to attend the Financial Peace University by Dave Ramsey to further this cause.
