Kenzie and Drew
“My wedding theme was modern and rose gold/champagne. I wanted lots of white and for my bridesmaids to wear satin rose gold dresses. I didn’t want too much pink, so adding in the champagne accents added a nice touch to the rose gold and white to keep it classy and modern.” -The Bride
Kenzie and Drew’s romantic, outdoor Tampa wedding featured a rose gold, champagne, and white color palette with elegant florals and chic details at the waterfront venue, Westshore Yacht Club. The bride and groom exchanged vows on the pool deck before celebrating under the stars with a lively reception complete with a monogrammed dance floor, cold sparklers, CO₂ cannon, and live painter capturing the night.
“We live in Tampa, and we met in Tampa, so it will always hold a special place in our hearts. Having a completely outdoor wedding on the water was very unique. We lucked out with the weather, and the fact that our venue survived a major hurricane the week before was amazing. We were just so thankful the wedding was able to happen after going through that,” the bride revealed. “Something that was very special to me was incorporating loved ones who had passed, especially my sister Stephanie. My bridesmaids actually wore the ‘Stephanie’ dress from Birdy Grey. It was a thoughtful way to include my sister on our special day. I also had a charm with her picture on my wedding bouquet, so she was right by my side.”

Most Memorable Moment
“The most memorable moments were getting ready with my girls, walking down the aisle with my dad, our first kiss as husband and wife, Drew’s and my introduction, our first dance, all of our parent dances, the speeches, the garter removal, and our private dance at the end.”

Hair and Makeup Inspiration
Adore Bridal Hair and Makeup
“My wedding day hair and makeup inspiration was ‘old Hollywood’ glam. I wanted lots of volume on my hair, and Adore Bridal Hair and Makeup did a fantastic job!
For makeup, I wanted to go with natural tones and a smoky eye. After my initial phone call with Adore Bridal, I knew they were the perfect fit for me and my bridesmaids. They worked with my indecisiveness and made me feel so beautiful. My bridesmaids all looked gorgeous as well! I was very satisfied with their services.”

The Proposal
“We were visiting my cousins in Charleston, SC, on Memorial Day weekend. Drew ended up proposing in Charleston in front of some of my closest family and friends. I was so surprised!”

The Venue

Westshore Yacht Club
“We really wanted a venue on the water as we both love the beach, sunsets, and palm trees. The Westshore Yacht Club pool deck was a perfect location, and we were blessed with a gorgeous sunset on our wedding night. The venue itself was gorgeous, and it being on the water overlooking the bay was everything we wanted and more. Amy Winkleman Cole was so helpful from the start; we knew we could trust her to make our special day come to life. No questions asked! It was a perfect fit from the start.
I researched numerous weddings on the Marry Me Tampa Bay site, particularly those that took place at Westshore Yacht Club. The visuals and inspo were extremely helpful!”

The Honeymoon and Bach Party
“We spent our honeymoon in Barbados! We fell in love with the private villa at the resort and the blue Caribbean water!
My bachelorette party was in Las Vegas! We actually had a combined bachelor and bachelorette party, including friends and their significant others. It was a wild time, but tons of fun having everyone and their partners there!”

The Photography and Videography
J&S Media
“I focused more on finding a videographer to capture our wedding video. I knew if they could do a great job with film, the pictures were going to be amazing as well!
I researched many photographers and videographers and fell in love with J&S Media‘s wedding films. I couldn’t get over the detail and energy they showcased in their previous work. It was an easy decision once I read the reviews! I also knew a few others who used them, and they all only had great things to say.”

The Design & Inspo
“My wedding theme was modern and rose gold/champagne. I wanted lots of white and for my bridesmaids to wear satin rose gold dresses.
I didn’t want too much pink, so adding in the champagne accents added a nice touch to the rose gold and white to keep it classy and modern.”

The Details
“I planned the whole wedding myself and spent many long nights researching inspiration and finding the perfect decorations, so a lot of it came directly from my creativity and my vision.
The most important elements of my wedding were the venue, my dress, and the details! We had a gorgeous monogram projection on the dance floor, cold sparklers, a CO2 cannon, late-night pizza, a live painter, and an old-fashioned telephone booth for audio recordings. It was an unforgettable night!”
