Karina and VJ were engaged in St. Petersburg, so it was only fitting to hold their wedding there too! Since the bride is a big fan of Salvador Dali’s work, she and her fiancé decided to host a downtown St. Pete wedding at The Dali Museum. “We have eclectic taste, and the Dali’s unique space gave us beautiful architecture: an outdoor garden with waterfront views and great art!” Karina said. Since the bride’s family is from Spain, Karina held a Mediterranean style wedding accented with eggplant, rust and gold colors. “I love jewel tones these colors were great for an outdoor waterfront candlelit wedding,” the bride explained. To contribute to her elegant wedding, Karina held a sunset St. Petersburg wedding ceremony with gold Chiavari chairs and an outdoor wedding reception with crystal draped centerpieces.
The Tampa Bay couple hired St. Pete wedding photographer Carrie Wildes Photography to shoot their Ybor city engagement session in the Columbia Restaurant wine cellar, as well as their St. Pete wedding. “Carrie has a natural ability to tell a story without words. She is so professional but has a way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Her photos are exquisite, and I knew I was working with the best person for outdoor evening photos,” Karina said.
