Amongst the sugary sand beaches of Clearwater Beach sits a beautiful wedding resort that has recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation.
With its private ceremony beachfront, The Hilton Clearwater Beach has always been a popular wedding venue, and now it features a freshly modern and updated 10,300 square feet of outdoor event space, perfect for social distancing.
The covered, beachfront deck seats up to 500 guests and shields guests from the Florida sun while keeping their toes out of the sand.
To showcase the newly remodeled event space, The Hilton Clearwater Beach teamed up with Lifelong Photography Studio to create a wedding inspiration shoot featuring the hotel’s private ceremony beach adorned with tropical palm leaves, which spilled over into the reception area.
“We wanted a clean, bright, modern, and tropical design to match the aesthetics of the terraces with the Gulf of Mexico background. Industrial, clean, modern edges, with tropical foliage. No florals at all in this shoot,” Hilton Clearwater Beach Director of Catering & Events Courtney Owens explained.
Keeping with the theme of neutral and minimalistic, the color palette featured an array of gold, champagne, and greenery with pops of navy accents, which was complemented by towering four-tier wedding by The Artistic Whisk.
“The space itself was our inspiration for this shoot: glass railings, industrial touches, and a modern beach feel. The Sandpiper Deck was built with acoustic walls, perfect for DJ’s and live entertainment. The tall tropical centerpieces were my favorite feature, they accentuate the ceiling height which towers at 21 feet,” Courtney beamed.
How would you describe your theme?
We wanted clean, bright, modern, and tropical to match the aesthetics of the terraces with the Gulf of Mexico background. Industrial, clean, modern edges, with tropical foliage. No florals at all in this shoot.
What were your colors?
Keeping with the theme, muted gold/champagne with pops of green and navy to give the depth of the table. I love deep greens and navy.
