Modern, Orange and Green Tampa Garden Wedding | Andrea Layne Floral Design
A torrential downpour didn’t put a damper on Brittany and Jeff’s wedding day at the Tampa Garden Club. After the reception, the sky cleared and the weather Gods made sure to let the sun shine for some beautiful outdoor portraits on Bayshore Boulevard.
The Tampa couple’s modern, garden wedding feature bright orange and emerald green accents, representing their alma maters.
“We wanted a very natural, outdoor feeling to our wedding, but staying true to our modern, personal design choices,” Brittany shared.
To bring their modern look to life, the couple hired Tampa wedding florist Andrea Layne Floral Design.
“I was looking for someone who could think out of the box. Andrea [of Andrea Layne Floral Design] made me feel like family and was extremely easy to work with when we moved to Fort Myers, FL.

Classic, Navy and Coral Tampa Garden Wedding | Carrie Wildes Photography
Candice and Steven’s garden themed Tampa wedding was full of fun DIY details. Their beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooked the water, which was an important aspect to the Tampa couple.
“We wanted our wedding to be simple and classy with personal touches of the two of us. Most of our wedding was DIY, which allowed us to stay within our budget and place emphasis where we wanted it to be,” the bride shared.
While most wedding colors are inspired by a flower or Pinterest board, it was the groom’s attire that set the wedding’s color palette.
“Our main colors were navy, ivory, gray and coral,” Candice explained. “Steven found a coral jacket he wanted to wear on the same day I found my wedding dress. His jacket set the color scheme for our wedding.”
To ensure the Tampa couple remembered every detail, they hired Tampa wedding photographer Carrie Wildes Photography.
“We wanted a photographer who was professional and personal, who could also capture our love and our family & friends, whether it was through candid photos or photography that was set,” the bride shared. “Carrie [of Carrie Wildes Photography] was extremely friendly, professional and worked with us to find the right package. The Carrie Wildes’ team produces beautiful work that was wonderfully displayed to us upon our decision making.”
