Sidney and Jordan’s elegant St. Pete Beach wedding incorporated touches of wood and lace to bring together their organic color palette of pink and green at the iconic St. Pete Beach wedding venue The Don CeSar Hotel.
“We chose a romantic theme with touches of wood since my husband is an artist. I just loved the color combination of light pink and hunter green, especially for the season,” the bride explained. “We are both from the Tampa area and love the beach. I have always dreamed of getting married at the Don CeSar since the first time I saw it!”
The bride’s effortless beauty was naturally complemented by St. Pete Beach wedding hair and makeup artists Femme Akoi. Sidney wanted to ensure that she felt like herself on her wedding day and went with soft, glamorous curls and a flawless makeup that enhanced her eyes.
“I didn’t want to look too different, I wanted to look like myself. Femme Akoi was phenomenal! Especially the owner, Christine! I will use them and recommend them always!” Sidney gushed.
With the task of designing not one, but two wedding cakes for their ballroom reception, the couple hired St. Petersburg wedding bakery The Artistic Whisk. As a nod to the groom’s love for wooden elements, his cake featured a tree stump, ferns and succulents.
“The Artistic Whisk because had the best tasting cake we had ever had! The owner, Jovana, is such a genuinely sweet person and makes gorgeous cakes! My husband wanted his groom cake to be a [tree] stump, and she was so excited to do that and totally nailed it!

Looking back, the bride reminisced that one of her most cherished memories was walking down the aisle and locking eyes with her groom.
“A few of my favorite moments were seeing Jordan at the end of the aisle when I walked out to the ceremony and when we came into the reception. Such intense, sweet, crazy moments!” Sidney shared.
