Bohemian Downtown Tampa Wedding | Rialto Theatre Wedding
This earthy, bohemian styled Tampa wedding shoot transformed an urban, downtown Tampa wedding venue into an airy oasis for an intimate and organic setting for a celebration of love.
“Inspired by materials from nature, our team sought to feature soft textures of macramé, lace and wool juxtaposed with raw, earthy elements of wood, stones and crystals,” Tampa wedding planner Amy Kladis, of Glitz Events shared.
“When creating the tablescape, we layered textures of lace with fringe placemats and paired the soft elements with warm wood tones and edgy black accents. We decided to use mismatched flatware in mixed tones of silver, wood and gold. Pieces of agate and stone place card holders tied in our rock and crystal theme,” the planner added.
Tampa wedding floral designer Florist Fire captured the essence of this wedding with airy, botanical arrangements to complement the white brick of the industrial venue. The floral arrangements focused on neutral toned flowers paired with earthy and natural elements such as fungi pods and air plants mixed with greenery, including seeded eucalyptus and plumose for texture. Air plant terrariums with gemstone accents were sprinkled throughout the shoot. The bouquet featured one large tillandsia air plant with dried fungi, greenery and dusty miller.
The neutral color palette brought to life the earthy textures of the wooden vintage pieces and handmade macramé’ ceremony backdrop. To take advantage of the downtown Tampa wedding venue’s expansive space and cozy corners, a lounge was created to showcase unique wooden vintage pieces from Tufted Vintage Rentals. Wicker and wooden chairs warmed up the venue and brought forth an edgy natural accent to a modern setting.
The wedding stationery and place cards by Tampa invitation designer Citrus Press Co. mimicked natural stone elements to complement the organic color scheme.
“I love all of the unique aspects of this styled shoot, including the ode to metaphysical healing powers,” Amy gushed. “The venue, the stationary, the jewelry, the vintage wicker chairs, the bouquet, the suspended cake; I have so many favorite elements from this shoot!”
How would you describe the styled shoot wedding theme?
Earthy, organic bohemian. We wanted to showcase the natural side of the boho style and utilize various textures versus a lot of colors.
What were the styled shoot wedding colors?
We kept a very neutral color palette and focused on earthy textures instead of color per se. We used a lot of wood accents, metal, lace wicker, greenery and accents of black for some drama. We focused on a natural, earthy aesthetic and the healing powers of metaphysical elements to create a neutral, yet moody shoot with some edgier moments throughout.
