Tampa Bay Engagement Session Locations
Downtown Tampa Engagement Session | Marc Edwards Photographs
When Christine and Nick planned their downtown Tampa engagement session, the pair knew that they wanted to incorporate the scenery of their new home, Tampa.
“We have lived in the South Tampa area for about six months and plan to be here for a while. We love it!” the bride-to-be gushed. “I wanted our photo shoot to be specific to the Tampa Bay area. Nick works downtown, and I attend school at the University of South Florida simulation facility in downtown Tampa. I loved the contrast between a more casual setting like Bayshore Boulevard and the downtown setting which was more sophisticated.”
The pair searched for a downtown Tampa wedding photographer who made them feel comfortable and at ease.
“We looked at Marc Edwards Photographs portfolio and loved his photos! When I emailed him, he responded back very promptly and seemed very interested in what we wanted in our engagement photos,” Christine explained. “We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!”

The couple, who first met as members of the marching band at the University of Florida, will tie the knot in the bride's hometown of Tallahassee this summer.
“What I am most looking forward to at our wedding is all of our favorite people being together at once celebrating. I can’t wait to finally be marrying the love of my life and doing it with everyone I love there!” Christine gushed. “Also, my favorite part of weddings is usually dancing, so I am looking forward to that as well.”
On our first day of a two-week trip traveling through Europe this past summer, we visited Brussels, Belgium. We sat down in the main public square and admired the beautiful backdrop of the city's famous buildings. Nick set up his tripod so we could take some nice pictures of us and the scenery. While I was smiling at the camera, he pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him! The picture we got of him asking me was priceless (his camera was set on a timer). He wanted to do it the first day of our trip because he was so nervous about losing the ring!
What did you look for in a wedding photographer?
When picking a photographer, I asked to see specifically photos that they had taken of weddings at the venue where our wedding is. That gave me a good idea of how our photos would turn out! We also wanted a photographer that was easy going and easy to talk to, someone we would be comfortable with.

Downtown St. Pete Engagement Session | Bohemian, Old Florida Inspired Engagement
Seth and Lauren enjoy with the beauty and history of St. Petersburg and made downtown the backdrop for their bohemian, Old Florida inspired downtown St. Pete engagement session.
The Tampa couple incorporated the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club in a surprisingly whimsical and romantic outdoor setting and the unique art in downtown St. Pete into their engagement shoot.
“We both love being outside and going on adventures, so this was a way to make our engagement shoot an adventure we both would enjoy,” the bride gushed.
Seth and Lauren recently wed at a cabin in Nobleton, Florida.
“Looking back, walking down the aisle was my favorite part. It was just so beautiful and outdoors!” Lauren reminisced. “We got to enjoy the gorgeous creation outside that day.”
On one occasion Seth and I were having a heated discussion. This discussion carried on into a few days, as both of us were quite passionate. Finally, one day I cancelled my plans for the evening, so Seth and I could meet to talk it over. Once it was resolved, I wanted Seth to know that even though that we have disagreements that I still love him and want to marry him. This was one of the most difficult conversations we had ever had. We both wanted to be clear that we have the utmost love for one another and that breaking up wasn't “on the table.” Seth kind of stopped when we were talking about that, he said “Well, I actually want to take breaking up off the table completely.” He reached in his bag, pulled out a box with a ring inside, and asked, “Lauren, will you marry me?”
