With Florida’s perfect weather and tropical aesthetic, bohemian-inspired wedding details are always in season. Intimate wedding planners Elope Tampa Bay designed a downtown St. Pete elopement wedding shoot that showcased how neutral tones and a nature-filled backdrop make a bold statement.
“The theme was boho and free-spirited. We wanted the theme of the elopement to really bring out the natural beauty of the venue,” Emily and Melanie, owners of Elope Tampa Bay explained. “We wanted to stick with a more neutral palette with lots of greenery to not take away from all of the plants and nature existing at the venue.”
In order to capture the fleeting memories to will be cherished for a lifetime, Amber McWhorter Photography used the neutral color palette to make the couple stand-out against the pops of greenery that the downtown St. Pete plant nursery offered.
“With all of the unique plants and greenery, we wanted to showcase everything at the nursery and make it inviting for future potential clients who are looking for an intimate indoor space,” Emily and Melanie recalled.
Creating a unique after ceremony celebration, Elope Tampa Bay organized the perfect picnic to substitute the traditional reception. To elevate the romantic experience, wooden chargers and rose gold flatware from Kate Ryan Event Rentals adorned the tablescape.
“We had so much fun designing a boho picnic for our couple to enjoy after the ceremony. A picnic is such a unique and fun way to celebrate after your elopement or intimate wedding,” the wedding planners shared. “Since most couples are not usually having a large reception or dinner party, a picnic is the perfect setting to have a moment to soak in the day and enjoy each other’s presence.”
As no wedding day is complete with a celebratory treat, The Artistic Whisk designed a miniature three-tiered semi-iced wedding cake with a gold drip icing. The dessert table also featured cupcakes with tiny succulents decorated on the top, while chilled champagne and toasting glasses provided the perfect finishing touch.
No matter the number of guests in attendance, there was one detail that didn’t go unnoticed.
“I was obsessed with the bride’s one-of-a-kind vintage dress. The details on the dress were just absolutely stunning in person!” the wedding planners raved.
