Abby and Kevin’s classic St. Pete wedding brought 115 guests together in November for a timeless celebration at the historic Morean Train Station, where soaring ceilings and skylights set the tone for an effortlessly elegant day. A refined color palette of white, black, and olive green paired with lush greenery in place of traditional florals created a clean, understated design that let the architecture shine. The ceremony seamlessly transitioned into a lively reception where thoughtfully curated music guided the energy from start to finish, reflecting the couple’s love of a great atmosphere.
“We live in St. Pete, so we wanted to keep it local as both of our families live here as well!” the bride beamed. “We both love music, and we wanted to make sure the vibe was good from start to finish, so we hand-selected all of our music for each portion of the wedding day. We had custom ceramic fortune cookies made by one of my mom’s friends for each guest! Everyone loved them!”
The Proposal
“We got engaged on our dating anniversary in November in San Francisco. Kevin coordinated it all with my mom’s best friend, who lives there, and had a custom fortune cookie made that said ‘Will you marry me’ on it. He did it in this really cool tree that you can stand in at Muir Woods, right outside of the city!”
The Bach Party & Honeymoon
“I hosted my bachelorette at a lake house in Lake Norman, North Carolina. It genuinely was so fun. I wanted something more relaxing and easily flexible with activities, as I had 14 people altogether!
We spent our honeymoon in Australia! Both of us have always wanted to go there, so we thought, why not for the honeymoon! We got to see the New Year’s Eve fireworks at the Sydney Opera House, which was such an incredible experience! Definitely worth the long flights over there.”
Most Memorable Moment
“Having Kevin’s grandma be able to attend the wedding was memorable. She just recently passed, and it makes us so happy to know that we have priceless memories and pictures of her on our special day.”

“We wanted a meal that was simple yet delicious and could be enjoyed by most people. We wanted a buffet-style setup to allow for options and reduce waste.
Amici Catered Cuisine was great, they were easy to communicate with, and their food tasted just as good as when we did the original tasting!”

“We looked for someone who could execute our vision and listen to what we wanted. We also cared about transitions between songs.
We hired Graingertainment because they had a strong social media presence showcasing their work. They were easy to work with, and we were happy with the DJ we had hand-selected, as they had similar music taste to us and a great personality for MC’ing.”
Which vendors really exceeded your expectations?
Our coordinator was amazing. She and her assistant made the day run so smoothly, and everything was on time. I truly don’t think it would be the wedding that it was without them!
What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
It’s easy to want to do a million things that you see on social media, but ultimately, all those extras can get super costly and add to the stress. Picking the things that are super important to you as a couple is what matters most. Less is more sometimes!
