Asian Tampa Bay Wedding | The Venetian Event Center Wedding
Tiffany and George's romantic Vietnamese inspired Tampa wedding featured rustic elements and a pastel color palette.
“We chose blush, light green, and gold, because blush represents love, green is Tiffany’s favorite color and
gold represents luck and prosperity,” the groom explained.
Complemented by rentals from Gabro Event Services, the Riverview couple chose to work together on DIY wedding projects, making the boutonnieres, programs, centerpieces, menus and even the party favors themselves.
“We incorporated various cultural elements into the wedding ceremony. It was important for us that our families got to experience some of my Vietnamese culture and some of George’s Filipino culture,” Tiffany shared. “We served traditional Vietnamese food for our reception, and it came out in a total of nine courses served to each of our guests' tables!”
Searching for a Tampa wedding photographer who could capture every detail of their special day, while providing quality photography at an affordable price, the bride and groom hired Kristen Marie Photography.
“We first approached Kristen because of a picture that she posted on her blog that was taken at the same
church we were to get married in,” the bride explained. “We knew she would be the one to capture all our special moments. Kristen delivered a great product, and she definitely exceeded all our expectations.”

Music was a main component of making their big day memorable, so hiring a professional Tampa wedding DJ was vital to keeping their guests upbeat throughout the night.
“We were looking for a company that could provide a wide variety of services and still produce a great production. We originally heard of Graingertainment through Marry Me Tampa Bay, and they did not disappoint!” the bride gushed. “They really listened to what we wanted for our reception, and their service was exceptional. They kept the party going all night!”

Looking back, one of the bride's most cherished memories was the intimate first look with her groom.
“One of the more memorable moments was when George first saw me in my ao dai, which is a traditional Vietnamese dress. I was really looking forward to showing off this particular dress, and George was equally as excited when he turned around and looked at me for the first time in it,” the bride reminisced.
The Proposal:
We took a weekend trip down to Siesta Key, Florida on the day of our seventh anniversary of dating. Just prior to our trip, George managed to convince me to bring this dress that would match him for the surprise proposal he had planned. That night before dinner we took an evening walk as the sun was setting at the marina at Bayfront Park. I didn’t know, but George actually hired a photographer to capture the moment. We were trying to take selfies then George suggested asking this random girl in the area to take our picture with his phone. She told us the lighting was really bad, and she just happened to have a DSLR camera with her and asked us if she could take our picture and would send it to us later. I didn’t have any suspicions at the time, and then after the first few shots, I noticed George dropping down to one knee, and that’s when he popped the question!
How would you describe your theme?
We decided to go for more of a romantic wedding theme with little a bit of rustic elements mixed in.
What were your colors?
Blush, light green and gold because blush represents love, green is Tiffany’s favorite color, and gold represents luck and prosperity.
What did you look for in a wedding photographer?
We really wanted a photographer who could capture every detail and provide quality pictures at an
affordable price.
We first approached Kristen of Kristen Marie Photography because of a picture that she posted on her blog that was taken at the same church we were to get married in. We then met up with her to talk about what we expected on our big day and as we kept talking to her we knew she would be the one to capture all our special moments. Kristen delivered a great product, and she definitely exceeded all our expectations.
What did you look for in a wedding DJ company?
We were looking for a company that could provide a wide variety of services and still produce a great
production.
We originally heard of Graingertainment through Marry Me Tampa Bay. They were holding a contest to have them DJ at a wedding at about the same time we were looking for a DJ. We didn’t win, but we contacted them anyway, and they did not disappoint. Graingertainment provided MC services, music, uplighting, and even a photobooth at a great price. They really listened to what we wanted for our reception, and their service was exceptional. They kept the party going all night!
What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
Come up with a budget and start searching for venues and vendors early on in the process. We managed to have all our vendors booked about six months prior to the wedding. Keep in contact with all your venues and vendors, as the big day gets closer and don’t miss any deadlines with them.
