Jackie and Dominik’s vibrant, boho Odessa wedding embraced a wildflower-inspired theme with lush, colorful florals in shades of pink and a mix of other vibrant hues, natural textures, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly reflected their love and personalities.

With a gentle May breeze tousling her romantically styled waves, the bride walked down the aisle in a long-sleeved, floor-length gown featuring a plunging V-neck bodice and a flowing A-line silhouette of satin, lace, and tulle, adorned with delicate floral embellishments. Surrounded by 75 of their closest family and friends, Jackie and Dominik exchanged vows beneath centuries-old oak trees adorned with cascading Spanish moss, creating a timeless and romantic backdrop for their ceremony.
The pair carefully curated every detail of their wedding, including personal and heartfelt touches contributions by the bride’s family.
“We chose elements of the wedding that suited us both, from the venue itself to the colors we incorporated, our drink of choice, and the music,” the bride explained. “My sister Julie created and executed all of our florals, and my sister Laurenrose was my makeup artist. It was very special having my sisters help to make me feel beautiful on my wedding day.”
As the ceremony concluded, the celebration kicked into high gear with lively music and unforgettable moments on the dance floor. Wanting a high-energy and fun-filled reception, Jackie and Dominik entrusted Events Done Right to fuel an evening of nonstop entertainment.
“We wanted a DJ who could keep the party going and create a fun, lighthearted atmosphere,” the bride beamed. “Our DJ from Events Done Right was amazing! We had an incredible time celebrating and danced the night away!”
No wedding is complete without a beautifully crafted cake, and for Jackie and Dominik, Faba’s Sweetshop created a stunning and delicious centerpiece. Their two-tiered dessert, elegantly frosted in soft blush tones, was adorned with fresh flowers, adding a romantic and timeless touch to their reception.
“We wanted a happy, whimsical cake, and Faba’s Sweetshop delivered exactly that,” the bride raved. “She makes an amazing cake, and the tasting was such a fun wedding ‘chore.’ Her passion for what she does truly shines through in her work, and everyone still raves about it! We chose a lemon raspberry flavor after seeing so many great reviews about Faba’s Sweetshop, and once we met her, we knew she was the perfect person to bring our dream wedding cake to life.”
As the bride made her way down the aisle, the significance of the moment truly set in as this was the beginning of their forever.
“My most memorable moment was walking down the aisle to the love of my life,” Jackie reminisced. “Seeing him standing there, I could see the rest of our days ahead—a life we continue to build with love as our foundation. I’ll hold onto that feeling forever.”
The Proposal:
We love hunting together. Dominik popped the question in our favorite place, in our favorite deer stand, as the sun was rising peeking through the trees. It was a magical moment we’ll cherish forever.
Where did you spend your honeymoon?
We took a cruise to Alaska, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime. We chose Alaska because we had both always wanted to visit, and it felt like the perfect way to combine beauty, great food, adventure, and relaxation into one unforgettable honeymoon. It was absolutely the right choice!
Where did you host your bachelorette party?
My sisters and friends treated me to a wonderfully relaxing getaway at the Sarasota Ritz-Carlton. We spent quality time together by the pool, soaking up the sun and making unforgettable memories.

Don’t stress over the small stuff or what’s out of your control. Focus on what this big day truly means to you, and let the happiness you feel lead the way.

Our wedding florals were absolutely our favorite part—they went above and beyond to ensure we had every color and detail we envisioned. It was pure perfection. Our caterer was an exceptional choice as well; their professionalism was unmatched, the food was exquisite, and the tasting experience they arranged was such a joy!
