Rustic Tampa Bay Weddings
Elegant, White and Gold Rustic Wedding | Cross Creek Ranch
While planning their destination Tampa Bay wedding, Laurie and Zach searched for a wedding venue with a gorgeous nature setting that could assist with all of the planning.
“Cross Creek Ranch is just beautiful, and being an out-of-town bride, the way they had a team there that could handle every different aspect was really helpful,” the bride shared. “The staff were great and very on top of everything!”
What did you look for in a wedding venue?
Somewhere outdoors with a pretty nature kind of setting and a place not stuffy or uptight.
Cross Creek Ranch is just beautiful, and also being an out-of-town bride, the way they had a team there that could handle every different aspect was really helpful. They were great and very on top of everything! Their main concern for the big day was that everyone had a great time and that each element stayed true to who they are.
How would you describe your theme?
Eclectic, garden, rustic. We are a casual couple and wanted the wedding to be a reflection of us.
What were your colors?
White, gold, and green. The venue being so green, it was only natural!

Outdoor, Rustic Dade City Wedding
Heather and Chad love all things country; their yellow and blue, spring influenced colors were accented by the rural elements of their Dade City wedding venue.
Heather searched for a creative Tampa Bay wedding florist, and their vibrant flowers by Northside Florist added the perfect pop of color to the rustic scenery. Photography was important to the bride and groom, so many unique photo opportunities were taken throughout the day, such as the newlyweds embracing on a big, red tractor, while wearing their cowboy boots.

Country Chic Wedding
Kayla and Jansen’s country chic, wedding featured cowboy boots, beautiful white roses as well as some unconventional wedding decor.
“We wanted a southern, elegant wedding to show off both of our personalities. I incorporated pearls and lace into all of my decorations, flower arrangements and bouquets, while my husband is an avid hunter, so I used his deer horns and turkey feathers as well,” the Alabama bride explained.
The couple’s outdoor wedding ceremony was filled with mason jar vases, a four column arch overflowing with white flowers and greenery and grazing horses in the background.
When it came to dessert, the bride and groom chose items that represented their family history.
“I used the same lady to bake my wedding cake as my mom did for her wedding. My cake topper was also the same one my mom used for her wedding 30 years ago,” Kayla shared.
How would you describe your theme?
Our theme was country chic. We wanted a southern elegant wedding to show off both of our personalities. I incorporated pearls and lace into all of my decorations, flower arrangements and bouquets.
What were your colors?
Coral, gray, pink and white/ivory. I chose that color palette because we were having a early summer wedding, and the colors complimented our theme.
What did you look for in a wedding florist?
We were looking for someone dependable who could add to my vision for my wedding and someone who could take an idea and run with it. We hired Northside Florist, because the owner Kathy came highly recommended. She had also done a wedding at my venue and was familiar with the layout. Upon our first meeting, she helped me pinpoint my likes and dislikes for not only my flower selection, but also my decorations and theme.
