Set against a waterfront backdrop, the November celebration welcomed 85 guests and transitioned seamlessly from an outdoor ceremony into a candlelit ballroom reception where romantic florals and layered textures added depth and softness to the refined design. From the bold plum suit to the delicate lace gown, every element struck a balance between dramatic and timeless, reflecting both of their styles. The overall celebration felt intimate and joyful, with thoughtful details and ambient lighting creating a night to remember.

“We were looking for a photographer who could balance timeless, editorial portraits with genuine, candid moments. It was important to us that our photos felt emotional and natural – not overly posed – while still capturing the elegance of the day. We were especially drawn to someone who could handle rich colors and candlelight beautifully, since our palette included deep plum. It was also very important to us that they were familiar with our venue!
We found Limelight Photography through Marry Me Tampa Bay! When we looked through their portfolio, we could instantly picture ourselves in their work. We chose Limelight Photography for a multitude of reasons, the first being that they were deeply familiar with the venue, so they knew exactly where to go to get all the right shots. They knew how to get the sunset photos perfectly. We also chose Limelight, because they did photo, video, and content creation. It was great to hire one team working together to capture the day. Creating a cohesive design from the invitations to the florals and attire was also very important to us, as we wanted everything to feel intentional and reflective of our style. Most of all, we prioritized being present and carving out moments for just the two of us, so the celebration felt personal and meaningful rather than just a beautiful event.”

What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
Be patient! Do your research with your vendors. Your vendors matter and will make all the difference. Enjoy every minute. It flies by and is over before you know it!
