Veanna and Trevor’s downtown Tampa Indian wedding combined the soft colors of springtime, chic gold accents, and an abundance of romantic candlelight for their ballroom celebration.
“We chose a chic romantic theme. We love the classy, elegant look, as well as keeping it light and floral since we did get married on Easter weekend,” the bride shared. “We chose blushes, ivory, gold, and rose gold. We wanted to keep things classy.”
The West Palm Beach bride envisioned an all-inclusive location that could expertly host her 350 guests. Upon setting foot in the expansive ballroom dripping in chandeliers at the Hilton Tampa Downtown, she knew it was the perfect setting.
“We wanted someplace that could hold our guest count and that was easily accessible and in a great downtown location. Being close to an airport was a plus, too! The Hilton Tampa Downtown was the only hotel we looked at. We walked in and loved the venue, and the hotel event manager was amazing and so knowledgeable in Indian weddings; we didn’t want to look elsewhere!” Veanna raved.
The bride and groom incorporated meaningful elements throughout the celebration to create a one-of-a-kind experience for their guests.
“Our personal touches were unique. We had custom nameplates, custom rally towels, an amazing live painter, and a party that last all night!” the bride beamed. “Trevor’s baraat was fun and filled with music, as was each of our entrances which we love. We love to dance and have a great time.”
Veanna turned to the area’s South Asian hair and makeup experts at Michele Renee The Studio and hired the founder and lead artist, Michele Renee, to create her wedding day beauty look.
“I wanted my hair to be simple, floral, and elegant, but something that didn’t take away from my makeup or dresses,” the bride revealed. “Michele Renee is amazing! She is literally a queen at hair and makeup. I’ve seen so many good reviews about her and her team, so I had to book her ASAP. I loved everything she did for me; she was simply the best.”
The couple stayed apart during the festivities leading up to the wedding ceremony, and the anticipation of seeing each other during the processional resulted in everlasting memories.
“I’ll never forget walking down the aisle to see Trevor,” the bride reminisced. “It was the first time I was seeing him in a few days, and I was waiting for that moment for a long time.”
