With its decadent crystal chandeliers, 18-foot ceilings, and neutral color tones, The Bayshore Ballroom can host an intimate wedding of 50 or a luxurious event of up to 1,000 guests.

Dinners start at $132++ and include four passed hours d’oeuvres, a four-hour bar, a champagne toast for all guests, a dance floor, house linens and chairs, and votive candles.

Luxurious, Chic White and Gold Wedding | Hilton Tampa Downtown
Knowing that we were going to have a large amount of guests coming from out of town, we really wanted to have a hotel venue. The first hotel we went to was the Hilton Tampa Downtown, and when we entered, we knew this was our dream venue! From the carpet to the chandeliers, there was not one thing we could complain about. It was so incredibly clean and had all the features we were looking for. We wanted a hall that looked fresh with beautiful chandeliers, a nice cocktail hour area, and, as weird as it sounds, nice bathrooms for guests to use.
The customer service was impeccable! We have truly never seen anything like it. The coordinators, especially Melissa, were there to answer any questions we had at any time of day. They truly made the planning process much easier and simpler; they are that good!
Classic Gray and White Black-Tie Wedding | Hilton Tampa Downtown
I wanted a venue with a ballroom that had a lot of space. We had invited around 240 guests, so I figured a hotel would be the best option to accommodate such a large guest list.
I chose the Hilton Tampa Downtown because of the amount of space they had, and I fell in love with their beautiful chandeliers. We had gone to quite a few events there prior to our wedding, so I knew what it looked like when it was all set up and decorated. Their event coordinator, Melissa, was amazing! She guided me throughout the entire process and was quick to answer any questions I had throughout the planning. The day we signed the contract, she gave us two Tiffany-crystal champagne glasses as a gift!
Romantic Pink Tampa Heights Indian Wedding | Armature Works
The Hilton Tampa Downtown’s customer service was amazing, and the proximity to Armature Works was a big plus. They were so helpful and accommodating. Shout out to Melissa Gordon, who helped us on so many levels, as well as all of her staff.
The most important thing at the wedding to us was that all our guests had a great time and felt welcome. Furqan and I both have big families, and it is not every day that we are able to all gather in one place together, so we really wanted to prioritize that the wedding was memorable and enjoyable for all our loved ones. The Hilton Downtown Tampa is where all the guests stayed, and they were wonderful. We were able to have a hospitality suite for all our friends and family to gather; we had cornhole, Chinese Checkers, chess, poker, Keton, and code names. It was fun for all.
Romantic Black and White Ballroom Wedding | Hilton Tampa Downtown
With my husband coming from a hospitality background, it was important we catered to our guests’ needs and therefore we wanted our whole wedding in just one location. We wanted everything to be about ease and convenience so that all they had to worry about was being treated to a special evening and a good time. With a guest count of 200 people, options are pretty limited in finding a location that was outdoor and covered for the ceremony and a beautiful grand ballroom inside for dancing the night away.
When we came upon the Hilton Downtown Tampa, we immediately fell in love with the beautiful brick area covered by tall gorgeous trees and a nice breeze coming from in between two tall downtown buildings.
Even though I had walked pasted this area many times, looking at it through wedding ceremony eyes, it looked completely different and so special. It really spoke to our love for Tampa and was quite perfect in every way for us.
The Hilton recently went over lots of renovations, so the ballroom area was beautiful and so grand. The Hilton’s service was excellent. When there was an issue with the beverage service, they made sure to make it right. We were very happy we chose them to host the most important day of our lives.
Timeless White and Blush Ballroom Wedding | Hilton Tampa Downtown
I knew my ceremony would be at our church and with Florida weather, I knew I wanted our reception to be indoors, but I love the outdoors as well and wanted to be able to incorporate that. So I was looking for a venue that had both an indoor and outdoor space. I also wanted a venue that would fit our elegant and timeless design and that would be a short drive from our church.
The Hilton Tampa Downtown’s terrace, chandeliers, and location ultimately sold me on the venue. They also fit our budget, were easy to work with, and we were overall very happy with the venue.

The Hilton Tampa Downtown was the only hotel we looked at. We walked in and loved the venue, and the hotel event manager was amazing and so knowledgeable in Indian weddings; we didn't want to look elsewhere!
