Pink and Lavender Romantic, Country Wedding | Cross Creek Ranch
Michelle and Scott hosted a romantic, country barn wedding that wowed guests from the minute they reached the Tampa Bay location.
“When everybody arrived, they walked over a bridge overlooking a creek and walked into a fairy tale,” the bride gushed.
The Tampa couple chose rustic wedding venue Cross Creek Ranch because of its country surroundings and ability to adapt to their theme.
“Our favorite part about having our wedding at Cross Creek Ranch was the atmosphere and how we and everybody felt like they were in a fairy tale wedding,” Michelle beamed. “It was the barn wedding we always wanted, and we liked they had packages that included everything from catering to flower decorators. After we met the staff, who treated us like family, we knew that it was the perfect spot for our wedding.”
The bride chose pastel colors to complement her romantic, fall wedding.
“We didn’t just want the regular two colors; we wanted soft fall colors like pink and lavender for the romance and navy blue is a beautiful accent color,” Michelle explained. “We added some burnt purples to bring all the colors together for fall.”
Looking back, one the bride’s most memorable moments was during her first kiss.
“When Scott dipped me during our first kiss a light sprinkle of rain started and then stopped by the time we walked away,” the bride reminisced.
The Proposal:
We stayed the week in Dunedin and on the first night, my husband took me out to a romantic dinner to the Black Pearl. I didn’t know that at the same time our friends Tasha and Malcolm were decorating our hotel room.
As we walked back to the room, Scott gives me the key and I walk in to see the room transformed into candlelight romance with roses everywhere and a cake with crystal champ and strawberries. I turned around and he was on one knee asking for my hand in marriage with his great grandmother’s wedding ring. Of course I say “Yes.”
