Alex and Alex's romantic Brooksville wedding embodied a rustic chic ambiance with elegant details and stunning outdoor ceremony.
“We didn't have a specific theme, however, I would describe our wedding as classic elegance,” the bride shared. “With Alex being a huge Florida State Seminoles fan and alumni, we picked a color palette of burgundy, blush pink and gold to perfectly complement our personalities and breathtaking venue. The combination of the colors mixed with our outdoor ceremony really pulled together the look and feel we were going for.”

Envisioning a breathtaking wedding dress that made her feel like a queen, the bride looked to Palm Harbor bridal shop Nikki’s Glitz and Glam Bridal Boutique.
“When I was looking for my dress, I wanted something different, but still classy and beautiful. After falling in love with Nikki’s Glitz and Glam Boutique to find her wedding day dress, Alex knew they'd be able to help her choose just the right bridesmaid dresses.
“When searching for my bridesmaid dresses, I was very open to different styles. All I knew was that I wanted long, burgundy dresses since we were having a fall wedding. My mom picked out the bridesmaid dresses, and I didn't even want to look at any others! I knew it was the one the second she showed it to me,” the bride gushed. “Nikki’s Glitz and Glam Boutique is wonderful at what they, do and I was so lucky that I could trust them with my entire wedding party attire.”
So many elements made their love story shine, but the bride and groom were especially in awe of all of their friends and family.
“You could say a lot of our guests were team Alex since both my husband and I have the same name,” the bride joked. “We were especially excited that so many friends and family were able to make it for our celebration. They made the night so special, and it was truly a blessing to have them all there with us.”
Thinking back to their whimsical celebration, the bride still remembers how she felt before saying “I do.”
“One of my most memorable moments was right before I was about to walk down the aisle. I still remember everything that was going through my mind, which was a lot,” the bride blushed. “That first step I took toward my almost-husband and his facial expression when we finally locked eyes was something I'll never forget.”

The Proposal:
We had just closed on our first home and went back to see it. He ran out to his truck because he said he needed to get something, and then came back in and got down on one knee. Of course, I said “Yes!” He cried like a baby!

What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
Try not to stress! At the end of the day, it's your day and you should enjoy it no matter what obstacle arises. During the reception, allow some time for yourself and your significant other to soak it all in. We were constantly getting pulled away from each other and didn't have much time to enjoy our first meal as a married couple together.
