When you take an iconic St. Pete Beach hotel and incorporate eclectic details, the result is charming elegance that captures a subtle yet chic ambiance.
Bringing together The Don CeSar’s recently renovated youthful modern look, St. Pete wedding planner Staci Mandikas of UNIQUE Weddings + Events created an organic yet bohemian theme for this styled wedding inspiration shoot.
“We really wanted to create a chic and youthful design installed at an upscale, traditional beach resort. We wanted to steer away from anything classic and instead try to create something that appeals to a younger couple that captures their free spirit attitude and bohemian style. We used an array of textures, both visual and tactile to create a layered design incorporating both organic and unusual elements,” Staci explained. “The color scheme was an array of muted colors and neutral tones. We didn’t want to do anything too bright or flashy, but we did want to add more color than just the blues, whites and greys of the location. The colors that we chose complimented the new Don CeSar finishes and charming modern look.”

A true expert when it comes to finding the perfect elements to help bring a theme to life, UNIQUE Weddings + Events teamed up with wedding decor rental companies A Chair Affair and Over the Top Rental Linens.
“The long tablescape featured pastel colors and mixed metals along with a variety of candles, floral clusters and even a bowl of fruit, set atop geometric linen. Iridescent chargers, gold flatware, and natural menus marked each place setting,” Staci shared.

Glowing in classically chic wedding dresses from Truly Forever Bridal, “the bride” embraced her groom as Andi Diamond Photography perfectly captured every sweet detail between the two.
“The ceremony gown featured a soft A-line wedding dress with a subtle square, round embroidery, and a sheet top. An effortlessly lightweight gown, the bride moved about gracefully like a goddess,” Staci gushed. “The reception gown was more streamline with embroidery on the top and an elegant gather at the bottom. The groom wore a blue tuxedo with a surprise black-trimmed lapel, showing off a bit of his personal style. His vest, bowtie, and accessories were also black.”
