Patricia and Denis’ luxurious Sarasota wedding featured a sunset ceremony and al fresco reception combining shades of pinks and reds accented by bold pops of black and gold. Guests perused gallery walls of art exhibits before dining and dancing in a garden surrounded by marble sculptures and manicured topiaries.
“We wanted it to be different and memorable and for people to come to our wedding and see our personalities. I would like to think that we are unique. My husband loves fashion and pairing original and unique things together, and I’m a fan of the arts and museums. The attire and scenery showed that,” the bride shared. “Our colors were pink, burgundy, white, and green. They looked nice together and gave us a lot of range.”
The Brandon couple sought a floral designer who could completely transform their event space to create an enchanting and immersive evening for their 250 guests. The creative team at FH Events provided great suggestions for how to elevate their surroundings and achieve the style they envisioned.
“Decor set the stage and truly brought the vision to life. When searching for a floral and event decorating company, we wanted a place that gave us a variety, could make helpful and unique suggestions about design options, was affordable, and flexible with us changing our minds about things. We chose FH Events because they fit everything we were looking for,” Patricia raved. “They have great options, good prices, different ideas, and even better customer service. They were willing to go above and beyond to make what we wanted to happen.”
The bride focused on the overall guest experience, prioritizing the event space, decorations, and cuisine to leave a unique and everlasting memory for their guests.
“The most important element of the wedding was making sure that our guests had an experience. It wasn’t just your normal wedding and reception. Décor, venue, and food play a big part in that,” Patricia detailed. “Having a good venue gave us the ability to add some different aspects to the wedding, like a walk through the museum after a cocktail and in between the reception. Décor set the stage and truly brought the vision to life, and who doesn’t love good food?”
The pair turned to Tampa Bay Cake Company to design a confectionery masterpiece that was as visually stunning as it was delicious.
“I wanted a really good cake without thick fondant and a wedding baker that delivered. Tampa Bay Cake Company was great. Emily’s service was good, and she had very good cake flavors,” the bride beamed.
Patricia maintains that the overall celebration was unforgettable, from all the decorative details to the heartwarming feeling of being surrounded by friends and family that day.
“The entire wedding was memorable to me. The ceremony and the reception were filled with so much love. I can remember so many details even now,” the bride reminisced.
