St. Pete Beach Wedding | The Don CeSar Wedding
Alessandra and Bryan’s luxurious St. Pete beach wedding featured a 1920’s “Gastby-glam” theme with a feminine color palette.
“We wanted an art deco inspired theme because we wanted a black-tie wedding that was both glamorous and fun,” the bride shared. “Gold and mint are my favorite colors, and the blush perfectly complemented them without looking too feminine.”

The Tampa couple chose St. Pete Beach wedding venue The Don CeSar as they wanted a venue on the water with that could accommodate the ceremony with a large reception space.
“We chose The Don CeSar because it reminded us of our art deco theme, and it’s just a gorgeous building. I wanted a space that was glamorous on its own and didn’t need too many decorations to be beautiful,” Alessandra explained. “The Don has so many different rooms where we could host the rehearsal dinner, wedding and brunch. The events manager was a dream to work with. She was so sweet and very easy to get a hold of. She did everything she could to make our day special.”
To ensure she had someone to help bring together all of the fine details of her wedding day, Alessandra hired St. Pete Beach wedding planner Parties a la Carte.
“I wanted someone with experience and who understood my vision,” Alessandra shared. “As soon as I met with Jessica of Parties A’La Carte I knew she would be perfect because she had experience, and I could tell she could handle an extravagant wedding.”

The couple’s 5-tier metallic gold wedding cake wasn’t just dessert, it was its own decor piece.
“We saw the cakes Hands on Sweets had done before, and after tasting their various flavors we were hooked,” the bride gushed. “When I found out they could paint my cake gold I was sold! The cake they made was just like what I had imagined and tasted even better than it looked, which is saying a lot.”
Looking back, one of the bride’s most memorable moments included sharing her big day with her friends.
“Hanging out and getting ready with my bridesmaids was probably the funnest girls day I’ve ever had. We were all so excited, and it was surreal to think I was about to get married. Walking down to the aisle and seeing my husband at the end, it felt like a dream,” Alessandra reminisced.

Someone with experience and who understood my vision.
As soon as I met with Jessica of Parties a la Carte I knew she would be perfect because she had experience, and I could tell she could handle an extravagant wedding.
What did you look for in a wedding photographer?
Someone who was easy to work with, professional and had a lot of experience.
When I first met Brandi of Brandi Image Photography, she was very sweet and took into consideration that fact that my husband and father hate posing for pictures. She was able to get all the shots we needed while working efficiently.
What did you look for in a wedding venue?
We wanted a venue that could host the ceremony and have a big enough space to accommodate the reception. I also wanted a space that was glamorous on its own and didn’t need to many decorations to be beautiful.

How would you describe your theme?
Art Deco/Gatsby Glam. We chose it because we wanted a black-tie wedding that was both glamorous and fun.
What were your colors?
Blush, mint and gold. Gold and mint are my favorite colors, and the blush perfectly complemented them without looking too feminine.
What was your wedding cake inspiration?
I wanted to tie in our colors and theme without the cake looking too “theme-y.” We saw the cakes Hands on Sweets had done before, and after tasting their various flavors we were hooked. When I found out they could paint my cake gold I was sold! The cake they made was just like what I had imagined and tasted even better than it looked, which is saying a lot.
