Nestled against the enchanting waterways near Caladesi Island lies a hidden waterfront wedding venue gem Beso Del Sol Resort.
The open water views, natural wooden elements and eye-dazzling chandeliers of the Dunedin wedding venue provided a beautiful canvas for this styled wedding shoot.
To style the bride, Tampa Bay bridal shop Nikki’s Glitz and Glam provided an embroidered illusion neckline gown with a drop back and a sheath fabric. The groom’s navy suit with silver vest was the perfect complement to the bride’s chic attire. Hair and makeup artist Femme Akoi created a wavy updo and natural makeup to enhance the bride’s beauty.
Capturing the details of the shoot and the breathtaking sunset portraits was Tampa Bay wedding photographer Grind & Press Photography.
Tampa Bay wedding planner Anna Morawski, owner of White Street Events, chose a color palette of light blue, green and gold to complement the elegant coastal theme and stunning atmosphere of the venue.
“The blues and greens went perfectly with the coastal theme, and the gold brought an elegant touch,” Anna explained. “I chose this theme for the obvious reason of the resort being on the water, but also because of the intimate details of the venue, such as the wooden elements of the staircase and railings, the chandeliers and the re-purposed bar.”
Gold beaded chargers and flatware from Coast to Coast Event Rentals added a touch of glam to the coastal theme, and popped against the blue linens.
“The gold elements that were brought in the glass beaded chargers, the flatware, and a few of the centerpieces really made everything stand out,” Anna gushed.
No wedding is complete without dessert and this coastal styled shoot featured three different sugary creations.
With a unique take on name cards, Tampa wedding dessert baker Pop Goes the Party created personalized cake pops on a mini birchwood platter with a rose accent, while The Artistic Whisk created a single-tiered ombre cake with the perfect blue jeweled colors to complement the beautiful waterway. Water-colored desserts from Mini Doughnut Factory completed the look.
How would you describe your theme?
The theme was a simple and elegant coastal wedding. I chose this theme for the obvious reason of the resort being on the water, but also because of the intimate details of the venue such as the wooden elements of the staircase and railings, the chandeliers and the re-purposed bar.
What were your colors?
Dark and light blue, green and gold. The blues and green went perfectly with the coastal theme, and the gold brought out the elegant touch to it.
