Laci and Roger's outdoor rustic Bradenton wedding found the most magical ways to incorporate a little bit of country and a whole lot of glam.
“Our wedding could be described as ‘ballroom in a barn,'” the bride beamed. “I grew up in orange groves with cattle, but I really love pink and diamonds. Since we were going for a romantic yet rustic ambiance, we chose a color palette of pink and white to tie everything together.”

Combined with research from Marry Me Tampa Bay, Laci and Roger incorporated their country glam vision through personalized details and pink uplighting.
“I used Marry Me Tampa Bay to read some articles and look at vendors,” the bride explained. “It was fun to add in some romantic details to your normal outdoor barn setting. For the most part, barns have a very rustic feel to them, so we added in a little bit of dazzle. Roger and my sister, Kristi put every diamond together for those three huge chandeliers hanging where we held our reception area. Once other soon-to-be brides saw those chandeliers in the barn, they wanted to book too! Long story short, the chandeliers are there to stay! Hopefully, they make other bride's day just as glamorous as ours!”
As the Florida couple pieced together their special day, they hired Bradenton wedding planner Kelly Kennedy Weddings and Events based on her experience, price, and personality.

She takes over at six weeks out from your wedding and even before then for us because of the holidays. Looking back on their whimsical celebration, Laci will never forget the special surprise the weather gave her right before she said, “I do.”
“It had been slightly raining as everyone was getting ready and making their way to the ceremony. Just as it was almost time for me to make my way down the aisle, the rain stopped, and a beautiful rainbow could be seen right over the property,” the bride reminisced.

The Proposal:
Roger took me to The Donut Experiment at Anna Maria Beach the morning of our engagement, then we were walking the beaches and looking for shark teeth in the water. He told me, “Laci come look! I found one!” I walked back over with my jeans rolled up peering through the water, then his hand popped out of the ocean with a diamond ring around his pinky finger! He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and of course, I said, “yes!”
How would you describe your theme/wedding design inspiration?

What were your colors?
I love pink and my ring is rose gold, so those were my focus colors. We also incorporated white, keeping it classy and romantic.
What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
Book a venue that describes you, find a planner who understands you, use a caterer that fulfills you, all while with a spouse who completes you!
