High school sweethearts Lindsi and Jeremy spent their first date at Anna Maria Island.
“We hit it off almost right away, and from then on out, we grew closer and closer together,” Jeremy reminisced.
The Lakeland couple dated three years before Jeremy popped the question on Lindsi’s 22nd birthday.
“Since I love to write and have always written her tons of love notes, I wrote her a 25-page long book that highlighted each of the important dates of our relationship,” Jeremy shared. “I surprised her by taking her to the beach for the week, and when she walked into the hotel room, the book was waiting for her on the bed. While she read the book, I ran down to the beach to set up petals and candles that spelled the words ‘Marry Me?‘ When she met me at the beach I read the last page (which had that day’s date on it), and once I finished I got down on my knee and asked for her hand. She crouched down and hugged me, in tears, before I could get up. It was perfect.”
The pair tied the knot at South Tampa’s Palma Ceia United Methodist.
“We really wanted a traditional, church-themed ceremony,” Jeremy said.
“We chose our wedding venue because it was so close to the water, along with the beautiful Tampa skyline in the background,” the groom explained.
To accent their waterfront Tampa wedding venue, Lindsi and Jeremy chose tropical wedding colors for their Tampa wedding.
To preserve every moment, the pair hired Tampa wedding photographer Photo Announce It!.
“Photo Announce It! captured our attention quite quickly. Rather than only have one photographer, they came as a team of three during our wedding day,” Jeremy explained. “They captured more than one angle for each shot and had personalities that made our day fun and easy.”
Looking back Jeremy said that one of his more memorable moments was seeing Lindsi walk down the church aisle.
“From the traditional feel at the church to the tropical feel at the Rusty Pelican, we feel that our wedding was an extremely unique event that will be remembered,” the groom reminisced.
