Blush Pink and White St. Pete Beach Wedding | The Don CeSar Wedding
Kelly and Jeremy's St. Pete Beach wedding featured an outdoor, nighttime Jewish ceremony with the Gulf of Mexico as their backdrop.
“I wanted to get married on the beach at sundown,” the bride explained.
The Connecticut couple chose the St. Petersburg area for their destination beach wedding to be close to family.
“We picked Tampa Bay because I spend every summer there with my grandparents,” Kelly shared. “My grandmother has become very ill, and she would not have been able to make it north to see me get married. I couldn’t imagine not have her at my wedding, so we took the wedding to her.”
After looking a multiple beach wedding venues, the bride immediately fell in love with the iconic Don CeSar.
“The second we pulled up to the Don CeSar, my heart melted, and I knew,” the bride gushed. “There is no better venue in St. Pete. The service was amazing; they pay attention to every detail. The views were incredible. Just thinking about it now, brings a smile to my face!”
The Don is one of the most pet-friendly wedding venues in St. Pete, which was a perfect fit for Kelly and Jeremy's fur baby. To put the bride at ease with who would watch her dog, she hired wedding pet planners FairyTail Pet Care.
“Max is our little son; our dog is our world. We knew from the day we got him, he would be a part of the wedding,” the bride explained. “I was really stressing out about watching Max during the wedding, but when I met Kelly of FairyTail Pet Care, I thought what a genius idea?! I trust very few with my dogs, and Kelly sent pictures, texts and really made every wedding worry go away. The Go Pro video was so cute! I have family members who tell me that they don’t show our video, they show Max’s view that FairyTail did!”

The Proposal:
Jeremy is an ophthalmologist, and I’m an eye care drug rep. We were set up on a blind date, since I do not call on him and never met him. It was pretty much and instant connection.
The proposal was on our roof of our apartment building. Jeremy was asking what kind of rings I like, so I knew he was looking. What I didn’t know is he took pieces from each picture and created a beautiful piece! When I saw it I cried, then we chugged champagne and watched the sunset from our building in Stamford. It was a low key proposal, which was perfect for me.
Why did you choose to incorporate your pet into your wedding day?
Max is our little son; our dog is our world. We knew from the day we got him, he would be a part of the wedding. He is part of the family.

What was your wedding cake inspiration?
Honestly, I don’t really like sweets, but my husband does. I was obsessed with how amazing the cake was. I don’t even like cake, but the devil's food and vanilla frosting was amazing! I highly recommend The Artistic Whisk!
What was your theme?
Very clean. I hate gaudy colors and love shades of whites and pinks. Down to the dresses and tuxes, I just wanted simple clean and elegant.
