Shabby Chic Rustic Tampa Bay Wedding | Cross Creek Ranch Wedding
Kim and Mark’s rustic Tampa Bay wedding featured a rustic and vintage touches with a blush pink, gold and navy blue color palette.
“Our shabby chic theme was light, romantic and very similar to our living style, as we wanted our big day to be natural and us,” the bride shared. ‘I am into flowers, and he likes rustic, outdoorsy thing, so we settled on lots of flowers and a camp fire for marshmallows.”

The Fort Lauderdale couple chose to host a semi-destination wedding at Tampa Bay wedding venue Cross Creek Ranch.
“We wanted a location that was just far enough from home so that guests could spend the weekend with us, but not too far so expenses for guests were not too high,” Kim explained. “Cross Creek Ranch was beautiful and offered everything we were looking for in a venue. Our wedding designer was great. She worked with me to pull the ideas out of my head and make them a reality. I struggled seeing the big picture, so she was great in making it all come together.”
Searching for a Tampa Bay wedding photographer with charisma, professionalism and experience, the couple hired Djamel Photography.
“I needed someone who could lead and guide us to great pictures,” Kim explained. “Djamel Photography had great reviews, and his portfolio was incredible. He was a perfect organizer and helped us to relax and pose naturally and intimate. Our photos were amazing!”
Looking back, the bride’s most memorable moment occurred as she was nearing the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage.
“Hearing the horses hooves as she walked across the wooden bridge to bring me to the aisle really solidified the moment that I realized this is it,” Kim reminisced.
The Proposal:
Mark took me on a private sunset gondola ride through Ft. Lauderdale. Right as the sunset was perfectly set, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever.
