Cross Creek Ranch Wedding – Rustic, Burlap Wedding
Jacqueline and Andrew’s Love Story:
My husband and I met about four years ago through work. I was a single mom of a baby girl, and around the time she turned two, we finally started dating.
About a year later, we started talking about marriage, and before we knew it, we were pregnant with our now two-year-old baby girl! Everything was put on hold to focus on raising a family together.
Then Valentine’s Day last year, Andrew asked me to go look at rings with him. Of course I agreed, and we picked a beautiful one out.
Rustic Rose, Burlap and Lace Cross Creek Ranch Wedding
Since Jacqueline and Andrew are from the Sunshine State, they wanted something different than your typical Florida wedding.
“Being from the beach, we knew we wanted anything but a beach wedding,” the bride explained. “I saw Cross Creek Ranch in a wedding magazine and thought it was so beautiful and so different from anything else we looked at. We instantly fell in love, and I knew our wedding had to be there.”

Although the Tampa Bay wedding venue was just a few hours from home, the Fort Myers couple bonded during their wedding planning trips to Tampa Bay.
“Making all the trips to Tampa with my husband to plan everything out was like taking little tiny vacations, and we got to spend a lot of quality time together planning something that would further solidify our love for one another forever,” Jacqueline shared.
The pair chose a romantic rose, burlap and lace theme to complement their rustic wedding venue.
“I thought it was so beautiful and classy,” the bride beamed.
Family played an important role in Jacqueline and Andrew’s wedding ceremony, with the groom’s grandfather officiating and their daughters making a memorable entrance as the flower girls.
“Apparently my little one tripped and fell, spilling all her flowers while trying to walk down the aisle. My older one stepped on my dress and ripped it,” the bride reminisced.

“Our flowers were all roses and lilies, for our children Ava Rose and Lillie, who were also our flower girls.” – The Bride
