New York City Bridal Market Recap
Spring is officially on us, which means Bridal Market has arrived! Right now hundreds of bridal shops are flocking to New York City to see the latest in wedding dress attire. Bridal Market is such an exciting week of events. From private showings from the designers themselves, to runway shows and exclusive parties (think Martha Stewart), it’s definitely a highlight for a wedding blogger.
This past fall, we joined our fellow Aisle Society editors to take on Manhattan and to announce our official website launch! (More on that next week.) We spent a jam packed week visiting over 100 wedding dress and accessory designers. The runway shows were just jaw dropping. Not only were the bridal gowns beautiful, the models, ambiance and excitement of Bridal Market made it unforgettable!
One of my favorite aspects of Bridal Market is that you can actually meet the designers. We had private interviews with CEO of Donna Morgan, Kathleen Mcfeeters, the Creative Director of Emmy London, Emmy Scarterfield, and Justin Alexander‘s Marketing Manager, Mandy Hjellming, to discover the inspiration behind their newest collections.
We also saw a lot of familiar faces, including our very own Tampa Bay and Sarasota bridal shops, Blush Bridal Sarasota, Isabel O’Neil Bridal and Bella Bridesmaids attended Market to choose their boutiques spring fashions. We had the pleasure of attending shows with them to view the newest designs together.
