Paola and Jeremy’s boho meets industrial downtown St. Pete wedding brought their eclectic ambiance to life with a subtle color palette, hints of blues, and subtle personal touches. Surrounded by friends and family from all over and with their wedding planner playing a crucial role, the bride and groom created the nostalgia of tying the knot in the city that brought them together.
“We always knew we wanted to do something more relaxed when it came to decor. We chose dusty blue as our pop of color since it’s Jeremy’s favorite color. I wanted to implement a lot of greenery, whites, and grays because I wanted a simple yet clean look while still incorporating the structure and design of the building,” the bride shared. “Since the building had a lot of character, I wanted to highlight the features and incorporate the elements of a wedding blending them seamlessly. Keeping the decorations simple and adding a lot of greenery highlighted the building’s characteristics perfectly!”

It didn’t take long for the couple to find a modern St. Pete wedding venue with a rustic industrial vibe. In fact, Paola and Jeremy had their hearts set on Station House
“Station House was the perfect location for our wedding. The team really went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests,” Paola gushed. “We had to improvise last minute and change the location of the wedding ceremony and reception because of an unexpected hurricane warning and a lot of rain. We ended up having the wedding on the first floor of the venue and it was even more magical than I could have imagined. We were so lucky to work with such an amazing staff like Emily to help bring our vision to life!”

Grant Hemond & Associates came as a recommendation from our wedding planner, and without a doubt, they didn’t disappoint!” the bride explained. “We were able to give Jason a list of all the music we liked, and he made a playlist that kept the party alive the whole night!”

One of Paola and Jeremy’s most cherished memories was was when they finally locked eyes on their wedding day.
“When I stopped at the end of the aisle to start walking towards Jeremy and saw everyone there looking back at me, I felt so much happiness. Feeling the love in the air and seeing Jeremy smiling and crying waiting for me will always be a memory that I will never forget,” the bride reminisced.
“Seeing Paola in her dress for the first time really hit me hard. I knew she had issues finding the perfect dress, but she was really excited about the one she eventually chose. She would have been stunning either way, but she looked absolutely perfect. I was in disbelief that she was about to marry me,” Jeremy gushed.
What did you look for in a wedding venue?
We wanted a venue that had lots of character. A place that already had enough personality that wouldn’t need a lot more to make it shine. We were also looking for a venue with a rooftop that had a more contemporary, modern look. We didn’t look into a lot of venues because we had a feeling since day one that we wanted to hire Station House.

The Proposal:
We were watching movies at home and of course, we had some ice cream sandwiches in the freezer because Jeremy knows I’m obsessed with them! All of a sudden, I asked him to get me an ice cream, and when he came back he kneeled and asked me to marry him. He didn’t have a ring yet because we were in the process of purchasing our home, so he waited until we got the house to also get me my dream ring!

What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
Think about the details of the wedding. It is not about the decor, food or music; it’s about family, a new future and the new couple you are going to be. The most important thing to remember is that the best memories are within the feelings and the emotions you went through the day of the wedding. Those will never go away.
