Backyard Tampa Wedding | Outdoor Ceremony & Reception Location
Haley and Max’s intimate backyard Tampa wedding featured a beautiful outdoor ceremony followed by a rose, green and gold colored reception.
“We wanted a natural, relaxed outdoor wedding,” the bride explained. “I love plants, like succulents, and my dress was a light rose color which went great with my skin tone.”

The Tampa couple focused on creating an intimate and relaxed environment, centralized on bringing their families together.
“We chose to get married at Max’s parents home because it was a beautiful outdoor location and that is what we were looking for, something outside and local,” Haley shared.
Seeking a Tampa Bay wedding photographer who would not only capture great shots and pay attention to detail, the bride and groom also wanted to hire someone trustworthy. Having a non-traditional reception experience, the couple knew that hiring a Tampa Bay wedding catering company who could understand their vision would be important.
“We were not having seating at our wedding, so I was looking for a catering company who could listen to our picture of the event and be creative to come up with something that matched perfectly. Looking back, the bride’s most cherished memory occurred when her guests started to arrive.
“We had a very small ceremony, with only parents brothers and sisters on the dock, before everyone showed up. It was very intimate and loving. I enjoyed getting to stand out front when everyone arrived to then start celebrating right away,” Haley reminisced.
What was your hair and makeup inspiration?
Michele of Michele Renee The Studio had done my makeup before for many shoots. and I wouldn’t have picked anyone else ! I love the way she does my hair and makeup every time.
The Proposal:
Our proposal was supposed to be a surprise at Bern’s steakhouse, but I had no idea Max was even planning to propose. He had spent months trying to pick the perfect ring and had picked it up that morning from Mavilo’s. The ring was burning a hole in his pocket and due to the excitement he couldn’t even hold it to Berns, so he got down on one knee at home and proposed. I said yes and was very thankful he asked at home. I am not a fan of being in front of crowds, so we had some time to take in the excitement then headed off to dinner with the family to celebrate.

What were your colors and why did you chose them?
