Shannon and Cammarn’s waterfront St. Petersburg wedding vow renewal featured an intimate afternoon that allowed the newlyweds to reaffirm their love and commitment to each other. Reminiscing on the memories from their first wedding, the bride and groom decided to renew their vows in a way they could cherish forever.
“We chose to do a vow renewal to bring us back to that special day. While COVID didn’t impact our wedding day, like many others, we faced hardships in every aspect of our daily lives, and it was so special to have that time to renew our love for each other,” the bride shared. “In addition, we actually did not have a videographer at our wedding, and it is so special to have our private vows recorded for us to look back on. Plus, getting dressed up in wedding attire is always fun!”
While Shannon planned her original wedding day, she was an active member of the Marry Me Tampa Bay Wed-to-Be Facebook group.
“For our wedding, I belonged to the Facebook group. While we didn’t utilize Marry Me Tampa Bay for our vow renewal, it is such an inspiration during our wedding process!” the bride shared.
The downtown St. Pete couple sought a scenic location for their vow renewal and chose Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club for its members-only beach and waterfront views overlooking the Boca Ciega Bay.
“We wanted a place that was private. Privacy and intimacy were really important during our wedding for our vow renewal. After all, it’s all about you and the person you spend the rest of your life with!” the bride beamed. “We wanted a secluded location but also on the beach. Isla Del Sol offered such a romantic and private setting, and it was easy to choose them!”
As Shannon had already planned a dream wedding day, she relied on Elope Tampa Bay to design all the moving parts for their vow renewal and make their vow renewal the magical experience they were seeking. Elope Tampa Bay understood the couple’s vision and turned it into an unforgettable experience.
“We looked for a team that has their couple first. Our vow renewal was such an easy, special, and romantic event made possible by Elope Tampa Bay. They were with us communicating every step of the way and also making it a relaxing, enjoyable event that Cammarn and I will cherish for many years to come,” Shannon beamed. “We hired them for a positive attitude and professional demeanor. These women are incredible. Down to the florals and cake, they put our vision to reality, without asking us one million questions. We felt heard and understood, and what they created proved that they know how to take your ideas and dreams and make them into a reality! I would not have any event without them guiding me each step of the way. Melanie and Emily are remarkable and created such a beautiful renewal for Cammarn and me.”
Looking back, the bride cherished reliving the emotion of seeing her groom at the end of the aisle, while she wore her tan “Made With Love” wedding dress that serendipitously paired with the laid back elopement.
“The most memorable moment was walking down the aisle, again, to see Cammarn. After all the hardships we encountered during COVID, it felt so right to see him at the end of the aisle. It brought me back to tears,” Shannon gushed. “I think that any couple, after any length of time together, should express the renewal of their vows. It really was beautiful.”
The Proposal:
Cammarn proposed after a day at Fort DeSoto Park, not too far from our renewal location! It was just him and me, and it was so special and intimate. We’ve been together for over six years, so it was something that we both were beyond ready for.
