Nadia and Shay’s industrial-chic Tampa Heights wedding perfectly captured their vision of rustic elegance with exposed ceilings, gorgeous greenery, and simplistic gold details. The bride and groom chose a romantic color palette of ivory, gold, and blush that beautifully complemented their downtown Tampa wedding.
“Our theme could be best described as industrial-chic with a touch of rustic flair,” the bride shared. “We fell in love with the exposed ceiling and brick walls at our historic venue, and we were actually the first couple to tie the knot there!”
MORE: INDUSTRIAL WEDDING INSPIRATION
As part of her wedding planning experience, Nadia attended Marry Me Tampa Bay’s Wedding Week bridal fashion show
“I got inspiration for wedding dresses and information on some of the top vendors in Tampa,” the bride shared.
One local wedding photographer really stood out to the bride because of her previous work and impeccable attention to detail.
“I looked at many photos of previous weddings at different venues in Tampa and St. Petersburg and started to realize that all my favorite venues had one thing in common, Andi Diamond Photography was the photographer,” the bride gleamed. “Andi’s attention to detail was absolutely impeccable, and of course no one captures sunset photos quite like her. At the end of the day, your wedding day goes by so fast and after everything is done your photography is the only thing you have to help you remember all the special details about your special day!”

Looking back on their beautiful day of bliss, Nadia and Shay loved their alone time together and getting to see their dreams become reality.
“The first look was very special to us, and I’m very happy we got the opportunity to do that and have it photographed,” the bride reminisced. “We also really enjoyed being able to walk into the reception venue before our guests arrived. It was truly special and we were completely blown away at how well the vendors were able to bring our vision to life.”
The Proposal:
Shay knew that I loved princess Jasmine and Disney, so he took me to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival and waited in line with me to me meet Princess Jasmine. In the evening, he hired a private boat that gave us a tour of the Disney property. It stopped right in front of the castle for the fireworks. As the fireworks were going off, Shay got down on one knee and proposed! It was truly magical!
What did you look for in a wedding photographer?
I wanted a photographer who would capture our wedding in a documentary and photojournalistic way.

How would you describe your theme/wedding design inspiration?
Rustic, industrial, chic
What were your colors?
I wanted classic colors with a pop of color. I choose ivory, gold, and blush.
What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
I was the bride that said I will never have a wedding planner. Looking back now, my only regret is not hiring my planner from day one. Planning a wedding is exciting, but also very stressful. Having an amazing wedding planner helps make everything flow smoothly. I don’t know what I would have done without her!
