The coastal chic vibe took us on journey to the shores of the Northeast. St. Pete wedding photographers Caroline & Evan Photography captured the vibrant natural lighting and true beauty of this lush outdoor wedding shoot. Inspired by the colors of the ocean and it’s natural elements like sea-glass, the simple decor accented the beauty of this waterfront St. Pete wedding venue.

The inspiration for this styled wedding shoot originated around the beautiful Dessy wedding and bridesmaid dresses, which included neutral colors reminiscent of the ocean and the sand that the Tampa Bay coast is well known for.
“I wanted to keep things simple, but with various textures and visual elements. I opted out of traditional linens and instead used gauzy ribbon and rope intertwined to create a table runner. It was the perfect contrast to the wooden table set with china and driftwood chargers,” St. Petersburg wedding planner Kelly Hancock Events explained. “Pulling in design details like a sea glass inspired seating display, an incredible textured wedding cake with driftwood and rope accents and a stunning invitation suite with brass and braided ribbon made for gorgeous coastal inspiration!”
Rather than choosing a traditional “beachy” feel, the lounge seating area and bar added an outdoor sophistication to complement the rustic elements. These gorgeous coastal details and soft floral touches amplified the natural beauty found in an outdoor St. Pete wedding venue.
The mix and match Dessy bridesmaid dresses perfectly complemented the relaxed feel of this waterfront wedding. The bride and bridesmaids wore a half up/half down hair style by St. Pete wedding and hair stylists Lasting Luxe to allow their locks to float in the breeze.
