Liz and EG’s Sarasota wedding featured a glamorous color palette of black, white and gold for their country club nuptials. The stunning duo aren’t strangers to the pages of Marry Me Tampa Bay, as the bride and groom allowed us to share their UPS inspired engagement session. As a nod to EG’s profession, the couple chose an interactive way for guests to find their seat.
“Our seating arrangement was a UPS theme, allowing our guests to look at a map of Tampa to find their name on a package located by a city in the area. The guests arrived to their seats with a small package on the table stuffed with some of our favorite candies, such as Lindor chocolates and hamburger or hotdog gummies,” the bride shared.
Searching for a Tampa Bay wedding photographer who could keep the atmosphere light and also organized,Liz and EG selected Carrie Wildes Photography.
“Carrie, of Carrie Wildes Photography, is so nice. When we first met her, she instantly made us feel super comfortable and truly allowed us to feel valued as customers. We loved her and would recommend her to absolutely everyone!” the bride gushed.

Looking back on their wedding day, the bride was focused on making it safely down the aisle. Luckily, she had a few more memorable moments that her photographer captured on camera.
“The ceremony of our wedding day was the most important part of our wedding. We had my brother-in-law sing for us, as I walked down these huge spiral stairs. The whole time I was thinking in my head ‘Liz you better not trip!’ she recalled. The most memorable moment of our wedding was probably our first look. We did it in front of our wedding party and both of our parents. It was a really sweet moment for EG and me that all of our close friends and family could witness.”
The Proposal:
At the time EG and I had bought a townhouse. Prior to moving in, we were doing upgrades to the flooring and painting to the walls. His parents asked to have a walkthrough of the townhouse while it was under construction, and as I was walking out of our master bathroom, EG was down on one knee. His mom got the whole thing on video!
What did you look for in a wedding photographer?
We definitely wanted a wedding photographer who was easy going, but also super organized and could accommodate our wishes on our wedding day.
