Lila and Adam’s elegant Clearwater Beach wedding encompassed rustic details with a classic style with an abundance of greenery and a romantic chic ambiance.
“Our theme was nautical elegance mixed with plenty of greenery. Being that Adam loves boating and fishing, while I love light colors and tons of greenery, we felt it represented us both,” the bride explained. “Wanting to embody a soft yet classic vibe, we chose a color palette of blue, champagne, and white. Everything complemented each other beautifully.”

Looking to give their 130-guest waterfront celebration plenty of personal flair, the Clearwater couple included their go-to signature drink and lottery tickets as party favors.
“We incorporated our personalities in many ways throughout the evening. From welcoming our guests with a strawberry margarita because it’s both Adam and I’s favorite cocktail, to a beautiful raw bar at the cocktail hour; adding in personal touches made everything extra special. One of our favorite elements was actually our memory piano. Not only did it memorialize the people who were major parts of our lives, but it also added a unique way of honoring them,” the bride shared.
Lila knew finding an experienced videographer was a top priority and with the help of Bonnie Newman Creative, every sweet memory was captured for eternity.
“The first time Adam and I met with Bonnie, I knew we were going to hire her. She was so easy to talk to, sweet, caring, and so fun! I knew that she would make our wedding day an important event in her life, which made me trust her talent and guidance through the process,” the bride gushed. “I truly wanted my videographer to be able to capture the love Adam and I have for each other, but also the love we have for our family and friends. Bonnie did an outstanding job making our video and I couldn’t imagine anything more!”

A wedding day isn’t complete without the cake, and for the bride and groom enlisting the help of The Artistic Whisk to design the dessert of their dreams was an easy choice.
“Adam had a lot of input on the cake inspiration! We love the beach, and the whole driftwood design was all him. We also added rose gold because that’s my favorite jewelry to wear so it matched my wedding ring,” Lila explained. “Working with The Artistic Whisk was fantastic! They were informative, flexible and so helpful. Plus, when we went to the tasting we had an amazing time!”

“There we so many special moments from our wedding day. From seeing Adam standing at the altar with a big smile as my father walked me down the aisle to surprising my grandmother with her favorite song, our celebration of love was filled with nothing but joy,” the bride reminisced.
What did you look for in a wedding videographer?
I was super picky about choosing a videographer. I wanted someone who could capture the love Adam and I shared for each other, but also the love we have for our family and friends.

The Proposal:
Adam and I planned a vacation to Mexico with my family for my 25th birthday. Little did I know, he was planning to propose the night we got there. At dinner, everyone gave me a present and Adam’s was last. He made me a beautiful photo album with tons of pictures from our years of dating. On the very last page was a picture of writing in the sand reading, “Will you marry me?” Adam then got down on one knee. We had the restaurant cheering and congratulating us from every which way!
