Outdoor Destination Sarasota Wedding | Powel Crosley Estate Wedding
Mollie and Josh's destination Sarasota wedding featured a vintage feel, with an outdoor waterfront ceremony and a reception under the stars.
“Our theme was simple, with a 1920's flare,” the bride shared. “We wanted an outdoor space on the water and loved the idea of an old mansion as the backdrop.”
The Washington D.C. couple searched for a Sarasota wedding photographer who could capture the energy of the evening.
“We don't typically like to take pictures, so it was important that the photographer had fun with us throughout the process,” Mollie explained. “We hired Limelight Photography based on reviews and pictures. Jess was our photographer, and she was great. She was energetic and had fun with us.”

Simple, with a 1920's flare. We wanted an outdoor space on the water and loved the idea of an old 1920's mansion as the backdrop.
What were your colors?
The colors were originally white because I wanted simple, but we threw in a little deep purple and silver so it wasn't so muted.
What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
Make sure you have fun and don't get too caught up in the details. In the end those details won't matter and all you will remember is what you did, who you were with and how you felt. Don't take yourself too seriously and have fun.
