Coming off of three successful years with our Tampa bridal fashion show, we partnered with the elite wedding planning team from NK Weddings and Truly Forever Bridal Sarasota to host our first Sarasota bridal fashion show at The Ritz Carlton Sarasota.
This fashion-forward event featured nearly 40 designer wedding dresses from Badgley Mischka, Pronovias, and Matthew Christopher, who has been featured on Say Yes to the Dress.
To create an ambiance and atmosphere for the show that was full of life and luxurious details, the planners at NK Weddings designed an impeccable show full of elegance. Even before attendees entered the ballroom, they were swooning over the romantic, pastel floral tablecloths from Over the Top Rental Linens and signage from A&P Designs. From the lavish florals and creative bouquets provided by STEMS at So Staged, the floral arrangements brought the wow factor to another level. Fresh Salon Sarasota created soft sweeping hairdo’s for the models that elegantly complemented, but didn’t overshadow the gowns. During intermission, guests were entertained by a surprise performance by the Jump Dance Company and delighted by a sweet treat to take home from Cakes by Ron.
Creating the perfect runway throughout the Ritz Carlton ballroom, we turned to draping extraordinaire Gabro Event Services for a soft background. Keeping the beat going for our models to strut their stuff, Spark Weddings provided music, ambient uplighting, and a surprise indoor fire-free sparkler finale.
“I really liked the sparklers that went off at the finale of the show,” Nicole Kaney, owner of NK Weddings, beamed. “The overall look of the room and the venue were very elegant.”

Taking center stage on the runway after the show finale was no other than wedding dress designer Matthew Christopher, the creator behind the beautiful gowns featured from Truly Forever Bridal.
“We loved having a featured designer, Matthew Christopher, be the headliner of the show. It was nice to have the energy of having the designer in person at the event,” Lela Haas, owner of Truly Forever Bridal, shared. “We love the romantic feel of his designs in concert with the exquisite structure of the gowns that perfectly complements a woman’s shape. Matthew is known for the superior interior structure of his gowns that shows off women’s bodies to look their best. We also love the subtle layering of fabrics to create dimension and texture to his designs.”

Tampa Bay wedding photographer Lifelong Photography Studios captured the beautiful details and designs of the gowns, while videographer Bonnie Newman Creative told the story of each step down the runway.
