Kaitlyn and Cash’s waterfront Sarasota wedding featured a elegant theme, with a timeless color palette.
“I went with very neutral colors: champagne and ivory. I wanted to have a very romantic and simple feel,” the bride shared. “Marry Me Tampa Bay was a huge help during the planning process. I loved using the planning tools and real wedding inspiration, to help give me ideas as far as décor and reception ideas.”
Searching for a Sarasota wedding planner who could help guide the bride and groom during their wedding planning process and keep things fun, the couple hired NK Productions.
“I wanted someone organized, direct, and easy to work with, but also someone with a good sense of humor for the more stressful times,” explained Kaitlyn. “NK Productions came highly recommended from multiple people in the area as well as a good friend of mine. They truly went above and beyond, they exceeded all of my expectations as far as a planner was concerned. I honestly don’t know how I would have done it without them.”
Wanting their reception to feel like a big party, the couple knew that a photo booth was a must have for their guests entertainment.
“I didn’t want a traditional photo booth. I wanted a company that offered fun back drops and props and that could put a book together of all of the photos that were taken that night,” Kaitlyn shared. “I did a lot of research online and ShutterBooth had great reviews. I was also able to see photos of other parties they have done which helped me to get a better idea as to what exactly they could offer.”
Looking back, the Sarasota bride shared her most memorable moment from their wedding day.
“As much as I loved the reception, the ceremony really stands out to me. The ceremony took place outside at sunset, on the water at the marina. The weather was perfect, with violinists playing, the boats in the background, the beautiful flower arrangements, and we were surrounded by our closest family and friends. It was such a magical moment and the best part, I got to marry my best friend,” Kaitlyn gushed.
The Proposal:
Cash proposed in Napa Valley. He surprised me and rented out the top of the Castello Di Amorosa winery, which looks exactly like a castle out of a fairytale. There were champagne, flowers, and lots of tears!
How would you describe your theme?
We stayed very classic and elegant.
What were your colors?
I went with very neutral colors of champagne and ivory, with a very romantic and simple feel. The bridesmaids’ dresses were champagne, and the boys were in navy tuxes. My flowers were also neutral, which I absolutely loved. I used mostly white roses, hydrangeas, and a blush colored rose. Hints of ivory and gold were also used for the place cards, menu, and invitations.
