Pink, Silver and Ivory Tampa Wedding | South Tampa Wedding
Jenny and Grayson’s intimate South Tampa wedding featured an indoor ceremony with ivory floral accents and a poolside cocktail reception.
“Our theme could be called modern princess or romantic elegance. I wanted something dreamy and magical,” the bride shared. “I wanted a sophisticated, whimsical princess theme full of color and elegance.”
The bride chose her signature color, pink, to add bright pops of color to her wedding decor.
“Pink is my favorite color; it brings me happiness,” Jenny gushed. “The silver and ivory complemented and mixed so well with the light and dark pinks sprinkled throughout the day, whether it be in the flowers, tablecloths or my even my dresses. We added bling to practically everything.”
The Riverview couple focused their wedding day on blending their families together in a memorable event.
“I really wanted to break the traditional must haves and wanted the day to be a day of pure celebration!” Jenny explained. “A day to celebrate a marriage and also bring into play the meshing of the two families and that felt like a family reunion.”
Wanting to create a fun and vibrant atmosphere for their reception with a focus on celebrating with their guests,Jenny and Grayson hired Tampa Bay wedding DJ Graingertainment.
“The biggest thing we looked for was a DJ who liked to have fun, was truly professional and who realized that we just really wanted a celebration without having the spotlight solely on the bride. We had such a variety of ages, ethnicities, and cultures, so it was imperative that everyone found something they liked and were comfortable,” the bride shared. “I picked Graingertainment after many high and raving recommendations and reviews. They seemed like the perfect fit, especially after being able to speak to the DJ prior to our wedding day. They did an amazing job, and we would hire them again for any special occasion that called for a live DJ!”

Looking back, one of the bride’s most memorable moments occurred during her walk down the aisle.
“[I’ll never forget] walking down the staircase with my dad and seeing all of our closest friends and family eagerly awaiting this special day. The love and support we have received from them have been tremendous and our memories and hearts are filled from that special day,” Jenny reminisced.
How would you describe your theme?
Our theme could be called modern princess or romantic elegance. I wanted something dreamy and magical. I wanted a sophisticated, whimsical princess theme full of color and elegance. I totally wanted it 100% girly!
What were your colors?
Different shades from very light to bright pink, ivory, and silver. Pink is my favorite and sort of my signature color; it brings me happiness. The silver and ivory complemented and mixed so well with the light and dark pinks sprinkled throughout the day, whether it be in the flowers, tablecloths or my even my dresses. We added bling to practically everything.
The Proposal:
The proposal took place at my 40th birthday celebration. My parents and I rented out the stunning Red Room at the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor. My immediate family had flown in for my birthday, and we had invited many of our close friends to attend my birthday meal and party. After lunch, Grayson asked me to marry him. The tone of the birthday party soon changed to a different type of celebration!
What did you look for in a wedding DJ?
The biggest thing we looked for was a DJ who liked to have fun, was truly professional and who realized that we just really wanted a celebration without having the spotlight solely on the bride. It was important to find a variety of songs since we had such a variety of ages, ethnicities, and cultures, so it was imperative that everyone found something they liked and were comfortable. I picked Graingertainment after many high and raving recommendations and reviews. They seemed like the perfect fit, especially after being able to speak to the DJ prior to our wedding day. They did an amazing job, and we would hire them again for any special occasion that called for a live DJ!
What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay Brides?
