Robin and Todd’s luxurious Clearwater wedding featured a country club celebration filled with romantic hues of blush, white, and gold. The luxurious soirée included a lavish Perrier Jouet Rosé champagne toast, ending with a grand sparkler exit into a vintage 1960’s Rolls Royce.
“Our wedding was elegant and unique. We wanted our wedding to be a formal affair that had a soft and romantic tone,” the bride explained. “Our colors included blush, rose, and, champagne tones with a light gold accent. We chose these colors to complement cherry blossoms, which are one of my favorite flowers and were a main part of the floral arrangements. We also felt these colors set a soft and romantic tone which is what we wanted for the overall experience of the wedding.”
The St. Petersburg couple selected the intercoastal community of Bellair for their wedding day setting. While planning locally, Robin read Marry Me Tampa Bay’s real wedding features.
“We used Marry Me Tampa Bay during the wedding planning process for design and theme inspiration,” the bride shared.
Desiring a high-end luxury wedding experience, Robin relied on the stellar reputation of wedding planner Parties A’ La Carte to deliver on all of the details she’d envisioned.
“We are both extremely detail-oriented and perfectionists, and we wanted a wedding planner who had that same eye for detail who would bring our wedding vision to life,” the bride revealed. “After our initial consultation with Jessica Ralph from Parties A’ La Carte, we knew that she and her team were the perfect fit. Jessica and the PALC team completely exceeded our expectations! They knew our vision exactly and were there every step of the way to make it come to life.”
Much thought went into the protective protocols as the pair planned their wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic, including temperature checks, customized face masks, and personal hand sanitizers for their 90 guests.
The ambiance was a central element of the decor inspiration. Opulent floral arrangements from Bruce Wayne Florals created showstopping centerpieces, Chiavari ghost chairs and chargers from A Chair Affair enhanced the luxurious ballroom reception, while gold sequined table linens from Over The Top Linen Rentals added the finishing touch.
“We wanted a wedding florist who had that same eye for detail and would make our floral arrangements really stand out,” the bride explained. “Bruce Wayne Florals was able to really encompass our entire wedding vision with each individual arrangement. They were extremely easy to work with, and their floral arrangements really spoke volumes to their talent.”
The bride’s Adam Zohar A-line wedding dress was a modern masterpiece that featured a deep sweetheart neckline with illusion lace sleeving. Bella Bridesmaids offered an extensive collection of colors and dresses to style Robin’s wedding party in a cohesive look of Jenny Yoo dresses.
“My bridesmaids’ dress inspiration was to utilize the feel of the wedding, which was elegant, soft, and romantic. I felt the champagne gold bridesmaids’ dresses that I chose complemented both my dress and the theme of the wedding perfectly!” Robin gushed. “Bella Bridesmaids was recommended by our wedding planner, and I was so so happy I chose to shop there! The owner knew exactly what I was looking for as soon as I described the feeling I was going for. I was able to find my perfect bridesmaids’ dresses and flower girls’ dresses within no time!”
Reminiscing on their wedding day, the bride beamed as she relived the moment she and her groom dazzled their guests during their first dance.
“Our first dance was extremely memorable. We started taking ballroom dance lessons in preparation for our wedding. It was the perfect first dance to Unchained Melody,” the bride recalled.
The Proposal:
I wanted to propose at the first place I went on a date with Robin or the spot we shared our first kiss. But because of COVID and everything closing, I had to think of another plan. I decided to share the moment with my parents in their backyard during sunset. It was the perfect moment. I wrote a love letter to Robin sharing with her all of the things I loved about her. After reading her my letter I got down on one knee while my parents hid in the house recording it. It was truly a special moment, and we celebrated over a champagne toast.
