This Avila bride's love for romance led her to chose a vintage blush, champagne and gold vintage wedding theme. The wedding reception decor featured birdcage centerpieces with pearls, vintage books and pink and white rose floral arrangements. In addition to a Frank Sinatra inspired piano player, the coupled continued their vintage theme by driving off in a 1950's Bentley.
Blush, Champagne and Gold Vintage Avila Wedding
Tampa couple Cinthia and Rob hosted an elegant blush, champagne and gold wedding.
“The romantic in me always believed that someday I was going to find my Prince Charming. When I did, I was instantly inspired with the elegance that the 1950’s and 1960’s bring, so I chose a romantic, vintage theme,” the bride explained.
To set the tone of their wedding, the pair chose Tampa wedding venue Avila Golf & Country Club.
“Avila Golf & Country Club just took our breathe away,” the bride gushed. “We fell in love with our venue the minute we saw it. From the glistening chandelier to the elegance of the flooring, it had a just enough romance to go along with the vintage feel that we were looking for.”
In addition to having a pianist play Frank Sinatra classic’s during cocktail hour, Cinthia and Rob continued their vintage theme throughout their wedding.
“Instead of choosing a regular limo to whisk us off to the hotel, we chose a 1950’s Bentley,” the bride shared. “It was absolutely divine to drive away as husband and wife in that white vintage beauty.”
To capture all the memories of their big day, the pair hired Tampa wedding photographer Ailyn La Torre Photography.
“Ailyn came highly recommended to us, and the moment I met her I instantly knew she was the one,” Cinthia beamed. “Her passion for photography was so captivating that I couldn't wait to start working with her. Everytime we look at our wedding photos it always takes me back to that special day and only Ailyn could have made that happen.”
Looking back, one the bride's most memorable moments occurred just moments before she walked down the aisle.
“As I heard the song A Thousand Years by Christina Perri, I knew that was my cue to start my journey,” Cinthia reminisced. “As soon as I gazed upon my son’s face, I was instantly filled with emotion and having him there to give me away was an absolute blessing. Soon thereafter, I looked upon the man that I would be spending the rest of my life with; the man that made my magical wedding come true.”
“The most important element of my wedding was getting ready with my mom and daughter. Having the both of them helping me into my dress left such an impression on my heart. I couldn’t have even fathomed the idea of getting ready without them there.” – The Bride
The Proposal:
While visiting my hometown of Honduras, Rob insisted that we go for a walk along the beach. It was raining, and I wasn’t a happy camper because it was quite cold. But since he was insisting, so I decided to go.
Suddenly I noticed Rob down on one knee, and I instantly knew what was happening. I said “OMG” like 50 times! I was filled with such excitement that I hugged him so tight for about 10 minutes, while he was still down on one knee.
He was so nervous that he didn’t realize that he was grabbing my right hand and not my left. While all of this was happening I was in tears, tears of joy to be exact.

A lot of hard work goes into planning the perfect wedding; try your hardest to enjoy every moment. Your wedding day passes by so fast that you want to make sure you can capture and appreciate every waking moment of it.
