Tampa Overwater Pier Wedding Ceremony | The Godfrey
Our most element important was the view, which is why we chose The Godfrey. It overlooks Whiskey Joe's which was our first date. Second, because it was a hotel. Prior to COVID, we expected about 40 people to attend who were from out of state so being at a hotel made it easier for all.

Modern Tropical Tampa Waterfront Wedding | The Godfrey
We really wanted water to be a huge aspect of the surroundings, but at the same time, we wanted something more formal so the beach wasn't exactly what we were going for. We luckily found The Godfrey and the long pier was perfect for our modern yet formal destination wedding.
The Godfrey's pier over the water was perfect for what we envisioned. The plus side to getting married at The Godfrey was that all of our guests from out of town could stay and we could all be together for the week-long celebration. They accommodated us very nicely and the coordinator made the day run smoothly.
