After shooting 50+ weddings with a high-end wedding photographer in Naples and working for the local newspaper, I decided it was time for me to build my own business. So I took what I learned along with my passions and moved to St. Petersburg; a place I now love to call home. Four years later – I have met amazing people with love stories only they could have written, stellar vendors, and I even met a fellow of my own (insert sappy love story here)!
I use a lot of bright, vivid color. My style has taken years to develop, but when it finally did, I think it became a recognizable piece for many of my clients. I would describe my photography as timeless with modern hints of flavor. It’s spunky, it’s colorful and fresh. I am full of energy and can of course help move you into poses when need be, but find that it is very easy for my couples to unravel their true selves in front of me making for a truly authentic session and photograph. I love using natural light, but also love using flash for those pops of colors. My Wedding Blog
I love photographing weddings because:
Weddings are incredibly intimate, and it feels super special to be able to share these moments with the couple. I imagine marriage to be the start to something fruitful and delicious. It’s the honey that keeps two great things together. The be-all-cure for all those sourpuss days. The fresh air you breathe when you feel stuck. Marriage is the epitome of all great beginnings. I really enjoy my couples. I get to meet some pretty amazing people from all walks of life, and I truly enjoy being able to provide them with memories they can cherish forever.
My personality is:
When someone asks, “are you available for our wedding?”, I immediately get excited for all the right reasons. I would totally consider myself a people person, your bestie, your go-to-gal for all things ‘friends’. I am incredibly drawn to raw emotion, genuine smiles and big belly laughs – and when I got all of those things rootin’ for me – well – my weddings become all about the people. And to me, what can be more important than that? I’ve been told on multiple occasions that I’m fun and really easy to get along with, and that I have the tendency to overuse the word “Perfect!” There isn’t a moment where I’m not giggling or trying to figure out what makes you smile. I pride myself on being able to make you feel at ease and comfortable in front of my camera. I envision myself as a friend just having a good time with you, and I just happen to be snapping some great photos along the way. Meet Kera
What makes my business standout from other photographers is:
I would also say that my way of photographing people has allowed me to stand out. I really ensure I know my couple before any shoot. And when we do set a date, it’s like we are just friends hanging out creating the most awesome art of their love. I think my overzealous personality helps my couples feel comfortable. I want my couples to feel as if they were reunited with their long-lost best friend. Not only that, but with every wedding booked, I am giving back to Trees for the Future!
My 2019 weddings begin at $3,240. All of my wedding collections include personal consultations and an online image gallery for easy viewing, sharing, and purchasing. Engagement sessions are completely complimentary (my gift to you!). Photo albums, Parent Books, Gift Prints, Canvas Wall Art, Thank You Cards and more are also available as an a la carte options or included in other packages. Most of my couples spend on average $4,340 + tax.
I have had the pleasure of being featured on Trendy Groom, The Knot, Borrowed & Blue, Artfully Wed, The Reverie Gallery and Marry Me Tampa Bay! I have also earned the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award in 2016 and 2017!
